Slide Shop-Wardrobe & Sliding doors

Strongly DO NOT recommend.
If you are after a vendor who provides prompt, professional, client eccentric service, this is NOT the place to go.

Their professional came to do onsite measurement and as a client, you 110% trust them to know what is best for client and they would consider all aspects for a fit off - distance between wardrobe & wall, height of top wardrobe and the door so you can FIT even a pillow on the very top shelf. However, these guys do NOT do that.

I signed off on measurements provided in faith they did their job right, but when they installed a wardrobe, i had to point out to them that the height of wardrobe is too high - u cant fit even a PILLOW through! But they came back saying I have to pay an extra cost for them to FIX THEIR MISTAKE because I had signed off on this! How ridiculous! Im still in dispute with them and its been 6 weeks now and i have not had this issue fixed and our house is almost finished completion! The next stop is Consumer NZ if they dont get this sorted by the end of this week! We’ve also had to email and call them a few times without any response back. Very VERY POOR SERVICE

We had new wardrobe sliding doors made and fitted. Great communication and service, quick turn around and they look great. Will definitely use them again.

Through reference, we seeked services from Slideshop to install a wardrobe sliding door. The job was beautifully done with no hassle and prompt services. Highly recommend.

The final product - one internal sliding door - looked good in the end but the process was pretty painful. There were mistakes because of poor communication within their team, and poor communication with me was frustrating.

Slide shop provided me with exceptional floor to ceiling sliding doors and shelving for my wardrobe. The quality of this product, was of a superior quality. They listened to what our requirements were and gave us good advise on what was the best option for the space we had.

Our 60yr old cottage had no wardrobe in the bedroom. So, we needed 3.5 meters of built-in wardrobe across one wall, with sliding doors. We love the finished result, which has a huge amount of storage. I had contacted a lot of companies before I found Slide Shop. They were happy to do an on-site visit, offer design suggestions and provided their own builder to do door-jams & installation. It was very easy! It was also no problem for them to come back, after installation, to make a few adjustments for us! We were happy with the friendly, helpful service of all the staff we dealt with.

Fast response. Easy to accept quote online. The installation team we very thorough and made sure I was happy with the installation before the left.

Extremely disappointed with quality of product and installation. The installer didn't know what he was doing, couldn't communicate and frankly made a hash of the whole thing. He drilled unnecessary large holes in the jib which he did not fill. The back panel is riddled with stickers which are covering up more unnecessary screw holes. The back boards and shelves were not installed in one piece and were joined very badly with gaps and not in a uniform manner. The back boards and shelving were all marked and the sliding doors had red stains on them. He cut the boards/shelving and the aluminium rails on the new carpet without any protective covering over the carpet. The installer had no care or respect for the property including damaging the walls on bringing the wardrobes into the property. The Supervisor whom I spoke to on numerous occasions raising my concerns was not interested and just kept on making excuses. I tried ringing the owner but he was always overseas and didn't return my calls.

A total disappointment both in quality of product and the service. The day the laundry doors were installed they fell off the roller and the frame came away form the wall. I sent photos the same day and asked them to come back and look at it and without even coming back to site they said it was a fault with the door jam and refused to do anything, despite having viewed the jam during the initial consultation. So they not only recommended a faulty option for our needs they then flatly refused to help fix it even when I offered to pay additional costs if it was the jam. We just wanted some laundry doors! We have been trying for over a year to get them to fix it and there service is next to none, months without contact and then out of no where threatening emails asking for the balance of payment yet no offer to resolve the issue - the door still falls off the track! When they finally did agree to send someone to repair it (at our cost) they sent someone who could not communicate AT ALL (not a single word of English) which made it impossible to discuss the issue, on top of that he couldn't find his own car park so I had to go onto the street (in the CBD) to help him and then he drove off because he couldn't understand where I was telling him to park, a complete and utter fiasco. Now they have the audacity to threaten us with debt collection for the balance (after 3 months with no contact or offer to send a repair person) when from day one the product has been faulty and poor quality. AVOID at all cost - there are many other places that can provide better service and better product.
