Had a Synergy2 system installed, works great, noticed the air quality vastly improved within a day

I'm happy with our smartvent. It's been a year since it was installed with no issues at all. It helps a lot with circulation of fresh air inside our house. It also helped with the condensation during winter.

Love not having to mop up the condensation on the windows anymore, wish I'd done it sooner!

I would insist on having this installed in any place I go now. Brilliant at improving air quality. I have hardly felt the change in seasons inside. A definite and marked improvement, especially with allergies and asthma management. YEYYY.

The smart vent system has made a massive difference to overall health of our home. So much drier and warmer.

Very happy with our SmartVent. Installed 3 weeks ago and we've gone from mopping up condensation with towels every morning or using the window vac, to no moisture whatsoever. The house feels much warmer due to the dry air. Highly recommended.

We should have installed in as soon as we moved into our new home 4 years ago! No condensation from Day-1, wow. Impressive performance. One of our frequent family guests stopped having hayfever in our house after we installed Smartvent. Wasn't sure whether we should choose this over other big named brands in the beginning but now we are confident we made a right choice with this great value-for-price system.

This company is a joke at most. They give you fitted price online. You call them to have someone come over and give you a quote which was 800$ higher than online because:

"Electrician had to fit one more wire and spend bit more time on the roof".

You are asking online chat support about the price difference. And what they say?

"It is not our representative and he can charge you as much as he wants" seriously?

I have booked installer appointment through your website and you are telling me that there is no business relationship between you?
They blame each other for wrong pricing in front of the customer. It was one big mess and I simply lost trust in such a company straight away. If you can't control your business you clearly have a problem.

One of the main subjects of the appointment is how they are better than HRV which is becoming so cringy at some point that you don't really want to listen to it and anyone having basic understanding of physics won't be fooled on those cheap tricks.

They obviously won't mention that HRV requires you to change filters every 24 months instead 12 with SmartVent and if you do so every 2 years with HRV your warranty is extended for another 2 years which is not an option with them.
HRV also gave me 800$ discount from the initial price as I was buying 2 products instead of 800$ price increase given on arrival from their guy that is not even recognized by company.

The service is slack get cowboys to install vents the installer said they never installed a vent before. I and still have condensation on my windows 2 weeks later. Rung Smartvent for information adjusting settings a few days later no improvement. I ring again but this time another person gives me different instructions to adjust the settings still no improvement. Like John says below shop somewhere else.

Great System. Smart Vent Got Rid Of All The Condensation And Has Made The House Easier To Heat!

Massively improved our 1960s home. Removed all condensation on the windows and it heats up the house dramatically in winter as our ceiling gets a lot of sun.

Good product, makes a huge difference to older homes with wet windows, dampness etc. Highly recommend.

I wish we had researched this system and its competitors better, it is not what we were lead to believe it was. The heat transfer system does not work as well as we had hoped. As soon as it drops below a summer temp of 18 degrees it stops transferring, so thats 90% of cold winter nights, it actually doesnt transfer heat around the house. We hoped to be able to save money on our power bill by getting rid of heaters and reducing fire wood, but we still had to have big fires and heaters running almost every night through winter. It has helped a bit with condensation, but again not as well as we had hoped. The aluminum around the windows still gathers mold, even now in spring. The vents leave a thick dusty ring around them on the roof, which makes me think about how much dust its pumping into every room. I have a asmathic husband, a toddler and a young baby. We had very high hopes for this product, but are so disappointed! I dont know how this product can be considered in the healthy homes scheme, it simply pumps dusty air around your house on warm days.

I'd like to say thank you to Cherry, one of Smartvent's customer assistant, who walked me thru how to set up our smartvent. She went the extra mile figuring out was wrong on our smartvent, and was patient giving me instructions how to operate our controller. Now, we do not have any condensation at home. Really great service!

Had it installed a few months back and surprised that the house feels a bit warmer but now more importantly I don't need to wipe water droplets on my windows and i don't need to open the windows when i'm not at home in the morning.great investment.great team of installers too.

This Product is not easy to clean the filters by yourself every 6 months on so because of the way they have installed it in the ceiling. Hope less Customer service and no empathy to help. I don’t understand why someone has to pay a person to to clean the filters and put it back again every 6 months as paid so much for the system. It should be installed in such a place where it is easy for a customer to DIY.

I won’t recommend the Smart vent to anyone.

We weren't sure which type of system would be best, so reached out to three companies. Craig was first to make time for us and was so knowledgeable and easy to get along with, we didn't need the other quotes in the end. I feel he went above and beyond to ensure we understood the issues with the house, what SmartVent would provide and set expectations for install and cost. Immediate difference in the house has been noticed with fresher air and a feeling of being much more dry. Excellent service and so far the product has made a real difference.

Smart Vent is great does what it is meant to do. The colder rooms in the house are getting the excess heat from fire in lounge. Works great

Excellent install experience and the vents are very unobtrusive. Genuinely great advice around what we needed and has turned our manky wet windows into clear glass on just about every morning. Also got rid of the damp smell.

We were advised that it would take up to two weeks to take full effect but waking up on the first day to dry windows was a great thing:)
