TERRIBLE DENTIST!

The entire staff aren't English - You can barely communicate with them due to the lack of understanding which is extremely frustrating.

I recieved temporary fillings when I asked for permanent and Winz had already paid for this not being informed of the temporary fillings until afterwards.

Although Winz made payment for quote there was leftover money but according to them not enough for any treatments which didn't MN ake sense as it was a quote Winz payment.

I had difficulties getting treatment due to gagging an was discharged with nothing but a numb face.

Called asked for referral to Green lane hospital and the lady who answered basically raised there voice yelling at me

I definitely don't recommend this dentist absolutely appalling.

Went to Mangere branch as I was in severe pain. Dentist there added fillings to 2 of my tooth and it didn’t fix anything. So now I have to pay $535 for nothing. Instead, it made the pain worse! I went back and explained it to her and she just gave me meds & fluoride that obviously doesn’t help. Transferred me to a specialist and said I will have to wait 3-6months. I’m not waiting that long with this severe pain. I can’t sleep because of the pain. I get headaches cause of the pain. You didn’t help me at all. You just made the pain worse and put me in $535 debt that I refuse to pay. I had a good experience with Manukau branch last times I’ve gone there and I wish I just had gone back to the Manukau branch instead. Cause now I’m never returning to Smile Dental all because of my last experience at Mangere.

I feel so welcomed every visit I have with Smile Dentist they are extremely professional and their work is of high standard, I would highly recommend Smile Dentist to others who are.looking for a high quality dentist keep smiling coz it suits you just perfectly

Dr. Andy Liu was very professional and thorough. He provided me first with an overview of my options so that I would have an informed decision. He was also very good at pain management as he was sensitive about my nonverbal communication cues and careful/gentle about the dental filling process I had to go through. His team was equally helpful. For someone like me who is usually scared about dental procedures, I felt safe and well taken care of during my emergency visit.

Pretty fast customer service. The teeth cleaning was kind of painful, but thoroughly cleaned. The pain is probably from my own dislike of pain.

Overall satisfied will come again.

Dr Sunil Maan is the best. I took my 10 yr old for consultation. He checked his teeth thoroughly and explained us all the possible options we could go through (which require a specialist). He also answered my son’s queries with a lot of enthusiasm and empathy. I’m totally going to him for any of my treatments going further

Had a broken tooth while on holidays and fortunately Smile Dental had availability to fit me in on the day. Sarah the dental nurse was friendly and gave me some helpful tips for my trip. Dr Boris Ma was affable, reassuring and thorough. Very pleased with the repaired tooth. Repair in my particular case was $350 with an xray for $35.

Out of all the dentists I've been to, Yvonne and her assistants were by far the best!

Not only did she calmly talk me through every step of the way, she also kept an eye on my body language to make sure I wasn't in any pain or discomfort, and if I was, Yvonne would stop what she was doing and ask me if I was okay.

Given the horrible experiences I've had with previous dentists, Yvonne and her team have restored my faith in dentists and they also made my root canal, impacted wisdom tooth extraction and other extractions quick and with as little discomfort/pain as possible.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am and again, I would like to thank you all for the wonderful experience!

If you are seeking after hours emergency dental work don't bother. These people don't answer the phone, you are left on hold till it hangs up, no voicemail message. Avoid.

My dentist lady Dr Jomy M Munjunattu made sure I was comfortable while working on my teeth, explaining the procedure very clearly and giving me maintenance advice when finished. Had emergency wisdom tooth removal done on a Sunday, same day booking. Excellent service and prompt appointment. Will definitely go back here. Thanks again team you saved my day

Excellent service by Dr Michelle Yeung and her team in CBD. I requested an appointment as a first time client and they slotted me in within three days for dental check + cleaning. So glad they open on weekends. Dr Michelle was very professional and straightforward. She explained what needed to be done, including the cost of the procedures. I had a minor concern next day so i called their 0800 line for advise. Dr Yeung kindly called me back within an hour to check in, and even offered to see me at the end of her fully booked day. I ended up not needing the appointment, as the phone advise was sufficient to resolve the issue. Dr Yeung still checked in on me with a follow-up call in the evening to see how I was going. I am not a fan of dental appointments, but my experience with Smile Dental has been reassuring and positive.:)

Excellent services from the 0800 number caller to being seen by the lovely and hardworking team at Queen Street. Michelle who attended to my 17yrs old daughters rugby tooth injuries was amazing and very transparent. Thanks for providing excellent service when I was stressing out. Smile Dental provided professional service in a matter of hours. Dr Yvonne was great. Compassionate, highly skilled and very good. She also has excellent taste in background music (nice Jazz). Would highly recommend them, and I have had my share of dealings with dentists all over the work. Full month x-ray was 95 NZD, the consultation was 35 NZD. They are open till 6pm and centrally located.

Dr May Yee Sim, she is good doctor, she is very kind and nice will to share time with me poor life, and very good advice to who are damaged disability, she always give hand to give me good advice, I am a damaged disability, she is good doctor, I am good to meet her in my life and very thank you for her time nice and good heart, and thank you smile dental good medical center, good.

Needed an emergency appointment and was able to get one. The dentist was wonderful, fully explained every step of the procedure before and while he was doing it. I was made to feel really comfortable. The cost was also reasonable. Excellent service.
