We have been with Solar Zero since 2018 and have found them to be an excellent company to deal with in all respects. Our installation was very professionally done and the installation crew kept us informed every step of the way. You can barely spot our 9 panels from the road which is aesthetically pleasing.exactly what we hoped for. Initially we had some teething problems getting our system running correctly and until everything was on line to everyone's satisfaction, we were never charged our monthly lease which in itself shows how this company cares about getting things right, and customer satisfaction.
We have SIGNIFICANTLY lower power bills than all our neighbours (even when you add in the monthly lease fixed cost) and appreciate the company reviewing our account yearly to make sure our system is tweaked so we can continue to make the best savings possible. Very happy that we made the switch to Solar Zero, and look forward to continuing to enjoy the price protection we have. If you want Solar with no dollars up front, this is the perfect way to go. We researched all the options on the market at the time, and Solar Zero was, and still is by far the best option available.

The Sola Zero team was exceptionally helpful and always went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best possible service.especially need to mention how awesome AYA was, who played a pivotal role in helping me understand its benefits. Her expertise and guidance were instrumental.truly awesome!

We are over the moon with the installation by Solar Zero ~ it was so smooth you would hardly know the installers were here. Could not believe the deal ~ a completely free solar system and the savings on our power account is a real bonus. Christmas has come three weeks early for us.

Very pleased to have Solar Zero. Huge benefit when we had the power outage from the cyclone. Excellent to know we are generating our own power and that it also gets stored in a battery. This meant our fridge, freezer and other essential items were kept running and we had some lights etc which helped in the evening throughout the outage. SolarZero provide a great service and are very helpful.

We had a great experience with SolarZero. They were very quick and efficient with theinstallation of the Solar. Unfortunately we had to remove it again due to selling the house. Aseem Wadhwa has been an amazing contact and he's been very helpful and patient throughout the whole process and I will definitely recommend their services.

I had an issue with my bills and i was so worried for so many months that my bills were going higher and higher
I spoke to Aseem at solar zero and explained him the situation. He prepared my report and also advised to get my hot water cylinder checked as it could be a leakage in it.
After getting it checked by 3 electricians we were able to identify the issue and got it fixed. Really happy with the service provided by aseem and appreciate his knowledge.
Thank you solar zero and aseem. Love the product they offer.

Highly Recommended, Team that installed were great could not fault them, Disappointed on scaffolding still on our property 10 days later. Might sell it

I have just a visit from Blake Coffee (spelling?) about adding my shed to the system. He was very polite, courteous and personable and knew what he was talking about. He even managed to educate me a bit more about my system - something that should have been done earlier by others - the installers perhaps. Well done, Blake - you deserve the 5 Stars. It is not something I dish out very often.

THE instilation crew were excellant, they knew what they were doing, cleaned up after they had finished instalitation.now waiting to see what savings I have got. Just need to get app on my phone to monitor the Battery level.

This is the 4th system we have had from solar zero. Each system has been better and more efficient than the one before and also the service delivery from solar zero has improved from poor to very good. Latterly in dealing with Vinod we have found him attentive and responsive to our queries which is also a great improvement on our earlier dealings with the company.

Initially we had a questionable customer experience which was mostly a factor of living on Waiheke Island but boy did these guys turn my perception around. From the leadership down through the entire install and support team we have been extremely impressed.

The quality of the installation and commissioning process have been top notch and we are now very happy customers making regular savings.

The best way to get solar and help the planet at a reasonable price in NZ! Highly recommended.

Don’t sign up. We did. Customer service is rubbish. Monitoring is limited. More expensive than using powershop.

I am selling my house and still living here. I have been dealing with Aseem to do with transferring the solar agreement to the new owners, he has been so helpful to me talked me through everything and made sure I understood how it works. Also when the power went off after the cyclone because of the battery my freezer still worked so I didn't lose anything. Last night for some reason the power went off too and I still had lights and could make a cup of tea. Lucky the power doesn't go off very often but when it does it's so good to have the battery back up power

Very pleased with our SolarZero install and what it means for our power savings in the future. Our Project Coordinator Anamica was an absolute star. Kept us informed of everything that was going on and if we had an issue got it sorted for us quickly.

Had a great on line meeting with cris.burman this morning to help sort out my account which needed up dating and was realy happy with every thing, this was far the best sevice on line ever

Very good service and affordability. Kept us in the loop throughout. Qualified staff who did installation and explained what they were doing and what to expect.only negative is the yearly review of price and not set price for a longer period.

Sept 2021. Purchasing a house with a SolarZero power system, seemed quite attractive. Silly me. A bewildering, erratic, time consuming nitemare whilst trying to work through a house sale and purchase process during COVID (with looming settlement dates.)
They have a seriously deficient approach to new customers and administrative processes. Impossible to get economic data to check the merits of their offerings before settling. They seem to use the 'Trust us' methodology.
Update: (Sept 2022) A visit by a S Z local rep, gives hope they are getting their house in order (finally). A recent takeover might be the catalyst?
Jan 2022. Internet down this time again. (2 Degrees have a deal with SolarZero.) Encouraged that Solar Zero actually had a prompt phone pick up this time.but was told I had to call 2Degrees myself then they would talk to each other, and me, in a 3 way conversation to figure it all out?
Guess what, AVOID 2 Degrees totally. They are useless. Won't answer phones! So gave up after being told a 1000 times that 'don't hang up.my call was important to them'. Advice to Solar Zero.drop 2 Degrees, they're doing you serious damage.
3 days later SZ call. 'are things ok'? Nice to have follow up.but hey, 3 days later!?
As you can see.still serious work to be done.

After we signed contract, until now more than half year, we still waiting two way meter to setup. That means, more than half a year, we still can not use all the function of solar system. But you guys open our account at 1st of oct. I wonder why not installed everything yet on time, the account can be opened earlier? Also the seller promised us to give 4 months free monthly charge. If it means in oct, nothing installed, but we already spend a month?

And the first time the install team came installed all the panel and battery etc, but left switchboard to the second week. After the second week, everything down. The Third week the inspector was here switched everything on, but the battery not working, i called the Electrician back on the fourth week to solve all the problems. Basically after signed contract, wait for the install team more than half a year, and then, use a month to install everything.and then, still left two way meter to fully finish.

Also, the seller asked us to transfer the power and gas to the pulse energy, and your company will cover our Penalty fees for both gas and power in total of $300, but only credit $150 for us. By far I can not see that your company show your integrity for your customers, i would not be happy to refer any of friends to your company. Also, i will let my friends know what happened in my experiences.

I know there have some people give 5 stars to them. But I suggest if you considering for solar system, better do more research and compare with other solar companies.
