Have some great online trademe auctions and deals - I got some fascia boards from here which were in great condition for downgrade seconds

First time shopping there today and was assisted by Paul, awesome and first class service from him. He definitely knows what he’s doing, but a huge thank you to Paul. Also a great range of products there, will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place as a whole.

Friendly staff. Where happy to help. Cut the lengths so I could fit them in my car at no cost me. Good selection of mouldings.

I've got nothing but good things to say about SPT.

I used to visit their yard in Eden Tce before it got acquired for the revamped Mt Eden train station. I gotta say, their Mt Roskill site is much easier to navigate your way around.

I've always found their staff to be friendly and helpful.even to an amateur woodworker such as myself.

I've built a number of pieces of outdoor furniture using Vitex from SPT.best decision I ever made. To illustrate my point, I built an outside bench for my deck using Vitex. A while later, I "clipped it" with the water blaster which wore away a bit of the stain.or put another way, this stuff is so hard that the stain didn't soak into it. I also broke a stainless steel screw during construction.

Now, I'm in the middle of building a couple of outside planters.and yep, Vitex is the only way to go.

Very helpful, very friendly. Most woods are in floorboards and we were after dressed, but they were still able to meet or needs. And the wood was beautifully dressed!

These guys are just great. I’m not a professional builder just a spirited amateur, but they treated me with the same respect as any other customer. The quality of the wood is way above what I’ve experienced from your regular DIY outlets. Can’t recommend highly enough.

A go to shop when you're working on the older style houses, there are quite a comprehensive range of timber profiles to choose from

Great service from Arun. Helped me pick out lengths that I needed, load up my ute and even made a flag for me to hang from the back.

Sales are nice and helpful. But their price are quite expensive. I asked the 4x4 post and they qoute for $50 per meter. Bunning is selling for around $15 only

Really bad trade with them on trade me.
Won the trade me auction for a packet of timber that was 150 lineal meters short of the advertised amount. They would not replace missing amount, instead offered a refund for the missing meters at a calculated price based on the small price we ended up paying for the packet (well under retail price) which meant that our refund was about $80 for 150 lineal meters.

Wasn't upset about the money, more the fact that the act seemed dodgy. Ofcourse, they just said that I was being "unreasonable" for apparently not being stupid. Have mentioned to many builders and many have said that these guys aren't good.

Have dealt with this company since it started in the mid eighties in Ponsonby. These guys are simply the best.

Good products. Ok service, but I got charged $27 restocking fee to return 2 floor boards which we didn’t end up needing. That’s a joke and destroys the customer service. Won’t see my business anytime soon.

Are you guys open? It says you are, your radio adds say you are, 45min drive and you look pretty dam closed to us, call and it just keeps ringing?
