Great doctors but trying to get threw to them to make a appointment is absolutely ridiculous have rung twice in one morning to try make a appointment first time on hold for 10 mins second time ringing still on hold coming up to 8 mins answer the phones

Calling and booking is really fast and easy and everyone is friendly. Honestly nothing more to expect but a very good GP to sign up for.

I am soo gutted with my experience today came for my son who is 3 yrs old waited in a room for 1hr 40min before we were seen by a Dr, I am gutted becuz I loved coming here been with South point since it opened with Dr Fiona & Hina who have always been amazing.customer service needs to be better.unfortunately this is the second time we've waited ridiculous times to se a Dr and to wait that long with a toddler.was told a prescription will be sent to a pharmacy of choice went there & it wasn't there.called receptionist they were going to follow up but haven't heard back.unfortunately will be moving family to another practice

This place has absolutely atrocious customer service. The doctors and nurses are fine but the customer service to book in appointments and even calling is so bad. The receptionist is the WORST most of the time the phone doesn't get picked up they closed at 5: 30pm but from 4pm the "sorry we are closed message is on" the receptionist 3 times i have been now has tried to charge me the wrong amount most of time she doesnt even know what she is doing and is slow

Have been using south point for years would not go to another GP

I’m not sure what staff are still onsite but the old team of Daniel Dr Hina and Dr shepherd are extremely kind and knowledgeable they do care about you

Hopefully the current staff are living up to the values as I’m sure they are.

My son is a patient at Southpoint Family Doctors and I wish I had enrolled him sooner. I am always able to get him an appointment the day before and sometimes even on the same day Not having to wait a week for an appointment like some GPs is great. The reception staff will always do their best to make it work and find us an appointment as soon as possible. Overall the staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating, they even have bubbles available for children that are uneasy at the doctors which my son really loves. If you are looking for a new GP to enrol, Southpoint Family Doctors is honestly the best!

Lovely team including all the doctors, nurses and receptionists! I agree with some of the comments below - their service may not be as “amazing” as used to be in terms of accomodating an appointment request etc but I’m afraid it’s happening everywhere in Auckland now. But despite that, overall the team is always lovely and caring. My daughter and I are so thankful. I moved to East Auckland last year and have no plans moving my GP! Thank you team!

I'm so disappointed and feel let down by my own Dr who I hardly ever see anyway. You have to plan in advance to see a doctor, like how can we plan to get sick, once early last year and now this week I really need to see a dr and next available appointment is in 3 days! I only asked for a phone consul which would really only take about 2 mins but have to wait for 3 days! You get 1 star and time for me to move onto someone else, I cannot take this 3 day wait any more

Its been a week, i am trying to make appointment. After a week i have got the phone consultation. And they moved my timing without informing me.

Breach of consumer rights and i am going to file legal complaint.

It happend with me in the past as well. I have written apology from them.

But its seems they dont want to learn.

Nobody replies even on the email. No responsiblity.

The staff are absolutely amazing, from the receptionist, nurses and doctors! They are very friendly, the very best family doctors that i have been to. All i can say is WOW, was really blown away with the service that they have provided. The doctors won’t rush you when it comes on assessing you, they will go thoroughly and make sure all your needs have been met. Just wow. Highly recommend this clinic.

At first, this practice was very good. Was very easy to get in touch with them. Was super easy to make appointments as they had their booking system on their app. Understand this was removed during the pandemic, however even when we were in the green light or up until now, it's been very hard to get in touch with anyone at this practice. They do not pick up calls and they no longer answer emails. They've really dropped the ball now.
Might be looking into a new GP soon.

This clinic is just absolutely amazing. From their receptionists, nurses and doctors. All of them are professionally trained and experienced. If most clinics in Auckland are similar to this one, most people will have a good day just by visiting them. Keep up the good work.

Patient here for 4 years now. Exceptional service and care from the whole team of reception, nurses and doctors. Even in difficult times like covid and lockdowns they communicated well and provide great care. Dr Hine is awesome!

Never got seen on time either with doctor or nurse. If they cannot see patients on time, Its best to remove appointment system and put walkin system. Also its hard to book an appointment when its needed to see doctor on the same day.

These doctors and their team are simply the best. Hinamaha Lutui is very thorough in her assessments and never rushes me, soo very humorous and funny. I have been with them for over 5 years since they opened their practice and recommend them 100%. You will be well looked after.

My husband and I couldn’t ask for better doctors ️ Drs. Shepherd and Lutui are the best! You will definitely get the quality treatment that you deserve. And of course, Their staff and nurses are also superb! Friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. The clinic is clean and organised too! On top of this, you book appointment using their health app:)

You have to plan in advance when you're going to get sick if you want to see your doctor. They take on too many patients. I Woke up with a terrible eye infection, so bad that my right eye was swollen shut and oozing. Tried calling 5 times between 9-10am to make an appointment but no one answered. The receptionist eventually just put my call straight through to an automated message that told me to call back momentarily. How rude. I had no choice but to drive in 20mins to the doctors with my 1yr old in tow. When i got there i was turned away and told to go to the A and E doctors down the road even after the reception saw the state my eye was in! I didn't have $70 to see the A&E doctor so i couldn't go. I left in tears and so offended that my own doctors basically told to go elsewhere. This is how they treat their patients. Im so dissappointed in them. Want to change doctors. They are always busy.

Absolutely love Dr Lutui. She is absolutely one of the best doctor's I have ever had the privilege of meeting. She is very genuine, has an awesome sense of humor, and just in general really amazing. She has a passion for what she does, knows how to make you feel at ease, and is absolutely motivating. We need more doctors like her. The clinic itself is nicely presented, with kind staff members- from the receptionist to the nurses. They are all lovely. Thank you Southpoint <3
