We waited for months to have my daughter tested for dyslexia and paid the cost of $725, once we had the results and began looking for support tutoring etc in our local area we were told there is none! I was advised to contact local schools and see if any teachers were looking for additional work. Had we known this in the beginning we would of chosen a different provider as this has been a huge waste of both time and money.

I felt cheated. We paid over $500 for the evaluation plus $100 membership fee a year ago. We were assigned a tutor 9 months later. The tutor was not suitable and we never heard back from SPELD. I felt the money was wasted.
