Looking for a specific upholstery fabric, when a pleasant young woman, who'd I guess had noticed I was looking puzzled, offered help and immediatelylocated just. A different wiman helped me at the counter, with good hulour and good skills; all this and the fabric was on sale. Wi.ning all round. Thanks Spotlight staff.what I wanted

Always get what I'm looking for - their crafting / art area has great stuff and a really good array of paints and accessories.

Spotlight are quite good for their Sales and they have a good range of fabric and yarn. They are one of the few shops who stock these things.

Hema in the sewing department was amazing, worked her way through my questions and worked laterally to help me. Thankyou Hema

Although busy the staff were friendly and well organised. The store had lots of stock in particularly in the main isles making it a little difficult to move around freely. It would also make it easier to see what's in the store without the isles being so cluttered.

Worst customer service ever experienced from a retail chain of this size. They ask you sign up as a VIP club member so you dont have to worry about the receipts. The orders are saved against your account in their system.

But when I bought from their mt wellington store and took it to the henderson branch to return, after 15 minutes waiting in the queue, the sales person tells me that she can lookup my order and accept my return if I had the receipt but she can't search my order without a receipt.

The worst thing was that when I tried to dial the Mt-Wellington branch to ask them to provide my order id, my call was redirected to a centralized support team. But even that centralized support team can't even lookup my orders.

In short, they are don't care about their commitments to their customers. They themselves suggested "dont worry about the receipts, we have it in the system". Then they just shrug their shoulders when their stupid system and processes fall short of their commitments.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, showing me around, and leading me to what I was after. Highly recommended!

Alot of stock in trolleys and in the aisles on the floor some staff need some work with being abit friendly with customers thats why we just walk out. So again service with a smile goes along way

If i could spend all my money here i would. New products coming in all the time always good specials on.

It can be hit and miss here. One visit will be great, finding what you need quickly and staff being good. Next visit they will be out of stock and the staff acting full of ther own self importance, particularly the mgr Wow, she has issues and a major ego problem. Feel for the staff.

They have anything under the sun for crafty DIY. However the shop is pretty convoluted and hard to navigate. Typically friendly staff can help you find things though.
