Possibly one of the best schools in New Zealand for a proper Catholic Education.

I am a St Peter's Old boy, and i look fondly upon my years at St Peter's.

The strong Catholic foundation, quality of the teachers, the brotherhood between the young men- these are things that truly set St Peter's apart from the rest.

If you are a parent that cares about your kids, cares about truth, integrity, and Catholic Morality - send your children here (or homeschool them).

If you are a parent that is mordern and soft, if your children are weak and "fluid" and you'd like them to stay that way, look to other schools or the other side of the bridge.

St Peter's Builds Outstanding men!

The school teacher bought an international student for 1 night. The school promised to pay 1 night of fees which is only $44.28. But chased up twice, never reply and no respone. What an unreliable school and teacher. Won't deal with this school anymore. Calling all homestay host. DON'T deal with this school.

Going to this school feelis like you stop being a human and become a puppet without a will to live. 10/10 Best way to get rid of the child you hate.

Wanna beat up kids that are a different race to you, well this is the school for you, doesn’t matter if they are big and small you can beat them up. It’s interesting how the teachers like to beat up the Asian kids for being to smart, They like to punch them in the stomach till the rice comes out of their mouth.

Absolute rip off! They charge $100 as a non refundable admin cost! You then have to wait 45 min to be interviewed after the booked time! No feedback provided and a joke! Definitely would not waste your $100!
They care more about your credit card details first to deduct the $100 than booking an interview time lol. Money grabbing school!

I was on the train on my way home back from my job and it was rather busy, but two young St. Peter’s college men gave up there seats for me. These boys have excellent manners and should be congratulated.

A Catholic Boys school teaching boys from year 6 to 13. A well run environment helping boys become men and giving them a decent education to boot. Well located next to a train station and major bus routes the school enjoys a huge catchment area based on its Catholic values and it's proximity to transport links. Redevelopment of the school is ongoing and that's seen the building of new classrooms and a sport's facility. A school that Teacher, Parents, Community and Students are proud of.

Simply dreadful customer service, terrible layout I couldn't find my way to the front entrance from the front car park. Students are incredibly lovely however, one of them offered very great rates. Unfortunately I had to decline or face a felony charge.

Great school, I had an excellent first year however I did find it odd they have an opening ceremony where kids seem to beat the daylights out of either smaller children or asian people. They also stole my bag with everything in it so I don't know what part of that is welcoming. The teachers are great but the priest like they make me pray with them so much and the holy milk is so salty at least that's what they call it when they spray it into my mouth. Overall lovely catholic school, 10/10 would recommend to any parent that hates their child.

Went to this school for about a year till I got deported back to my country coz my visa expired. All in all, I have very fond memories of this school which I will cherish with me for the rest of my life. Till we meet again, St Peters I will miss you.

NCEA students are brainwashed by certain headmasters into thinking excellence endorsement and NCEA qualifications in general don't mean anything. In St. Peters college, that maybe the case but in the real world, universities don't care about a certain private schools standard of academic excellence. Personally, I had no idea that an NCEA rank score of 300 means you have met the minimum requirement to be considered for an academic excellence scholarship for AUT. Is it my fault instead of the schools for not researching? Perhaps, but it didn't help that I was told directly by a headmaster (won't name him) that because I chose the NCEA pathway, I was therefore a lower class student (so I actually genuinely believed scholarship grants were not an option for me), even though I had gotten a higher grade in an externally assessed Waikato University philosophy paper than most of the "academically superior" Cambridge students LOL. Whether it's my fault or not, I can't help but feel annoyed that people who worked part time during school and consequently turning up to class half asleep and doing the bare minimum work to pass, seem to be in a much better position financially than someone like me who actually tried in NCEA.

This school makes itself an easy target for students to complain about because it markets itself as a better option than a traditional public school, which simply isn't true. I don't feel that the 7 years I spent at this school has made me a better human than someone who went to public school, if anything it just made my parents poorer. I also feel that many of my former fellow students here acquired the new-age passive aggressive way of dealing with people they dislike because if you actually did confront someone, you were liable to getting suspended or worse, so the idea that this school makes you a "better man" is sort of a myth. I remember there was at one point only 1-3 usable toilets (some toilets door locks were broken, and many toilet seats are constantly covered in urine) for a student population of 1000 or so. If you are reading this, unless you are study god as a 14 year old. Like any high school, this place is going to suck. I'm not actually sure if parents pay premium to send their kids here, but St. Peters college really isn't worth the extra tuition cost if that's the case. - James

This is a great school. The staff are very friendly and encouraging. Everyone respects one another and we have great buildings and facilities. I am proud to be a Saint Peter’s young man.

Once I was walking to my brothers school and then 4 students from this school were playing their music really loud and then they started to shout at me. I do not recommend this college. But i would definitely recommend St Pauls College.

I am a student from another school but I have experienced St. Peter’s kids being rude at the Train station at Kingsland getting off the train. They push and shove and once a kid got pushed over and stated bleeding and I have experienced this many many times and have stood up for myself and my friend but they never change there attitude. I recommend them changing their attitude.

Horrible school. Don't send your kids here if you want them to have at least some freedom as kids.

Very rude individuals. My car was punched multiple times as I let many St Peter's men past. I was very outraged from the way these men have acted. It's very very poor behaviour. I hope the men learn something about how to act in public. Very ashamed of their actions.

Only been at this school for one year so far but St Peter’s as already made me into a better man with more respect for others and the world around me, the options for co-curriculars are outstanding as well
