Steel came originally to assess the performance of my solar system after I had perceived a deterioration in its performance. Having discovered my warranty would not cover the fix, Steel came and upgraded my system, restoring it to full operation. At all times they behaved in a highly professional and efficient manner and I am glad I chose them to do the job.

I've used Jarrod and his team at my house for 2 solar installations and have found them very professional and the workmanship absolutely on the mark. I would recommend Steel Electrical to any friend or relative or anyone for that matter.

Be very careful about dealing with this company. We engaged SSE to conduct some wiring on our property (they were referred to us). We were not provided with an estimate or details of hourly rates. We then received a bill for 18 hours work. 2 people at 9 hours each for a job which should have taken half of that. This included 4 hour for the privilege of their workers sitting in Auckland rush hour traffic. When we queried this the owner was arrogant, rude and aggressive even threatening to get Baycorp involved when we refused to pay $126.5. If you are planning to deal with this company.outside of west Auckland.think about engaging someone more local.

Follow up to SSE Response: We stand by our review and the only reason that we didn't raise concerns about quality was that we have no means by which to judge it.

We deal with Steel Electrical and their team on a daily basis and have been very happy with the services, support and communication they have provided. We see a long continued solar partnership with Steel Electrical for the future.
