Stoddard Dental Square

It's worst dental place ever. 3 times I went there for the same tooth for filing but they still didn't do it properly. I've been biting on the chipped filing and upon telling the dental they started making excuses for the 3rd time. Come on!
Cheap materials used by unprofessionals.

Bought a $59 grab one voucher for my husband to go for a tooth clean. Came out with an extra bill of $100 for more cleaning need to be done due to the brace in his tooth and a $30 prescription of antibiotics. My husband describes it was a rather rough and painful experience. The whole cleaning process took little more than 20 mins. Not sure how much more extra work they have done as a normal cleaning appointment claimed to be 30mins. Understanding the discounted voucher is for attracting new customers, however, they have lost their potential customers forever, including all my relatives and my friends.

I found the dentists to be very money minded and with very rude behaviour.

I bought a $25 voucher from groupon wich covered the dental examination and 2 x rays. My appointment was booked at 4: 30 PM but nobody cared to inform me that there is a delay in schedule. I waited for half an hour and had to cancel my other appointments.

Finally when my turn came, the dentist hardly gave me 5-10 min and started offering me their services. She wasn’t polite at all and i never felt that i want to take any dental services from her.

One suggestion: Be polite to everyone regardless if someone is coming through grabon.

Very poor service, I went for teeth cleaning and left feeling like nothing was done. I got a second consultation with another dentist and they confirmed this. Not going here again.

It's a scam. The doctor took 3 x-rays and told me some weird story that I should take my wisdom tooth off. I never had any troubles with my wisdom tooth. I will NOT recommend anyone here. They are making money without even giving you proper advise.

Didn't like the service at all, the dentist doesn't know how to speak and no manners at all and full on going on other deals rather then focusing on what I came for. Just bloody waste of time

I've had a bit of a rough time with my teeth this year. Several fillings (one that's been twice done, that means filling had to be drilled out then the hole cleaned THEN refilled).
Now on the last filling done its buggered after a couple of months and I have shooting pain through my tooth to the side of my face.
It's horrible. I've spent close to 2 k on this 'dentist' and know I need more work done. Spend the money elsewhere.

My review is not showing on Manukau guardian dental branch (probably due to a huge influx of fake 5 star reviews) so I’m hoping this one will show. I feel like it’s my civic duty to inform people and make their own judgement.
I was considering coming here but I found MORE THAN 3 reviewers posting within the SAME DAY with the same comments on other dental practices all owned by the same people. People are not that stupid, these guys are such idiots. No doubt they have some happy customers but what a bad look. It gets worse when you investigate more into the positive “reviewers”. Most of them are duplicates.

ZERO STAR! Rip off! Not recommended at all. Their intention is only looting by wasting time. Nothing useful. Beware of this SCAM

I went here a while back. Two things did not impress me. First, the dentist came out into the waiting room with a patient's tooth in his hand, blood on his gloves, talking to the receptionist about how this was not an ACC case. Secondly, my own dental clean and scale took literally 2 minutes. Two. Not going back.

A friend recommended this place. I booked with the dentist she recommended but they changed my appointment and booked me in with another person. She was a bit rude, and mentioned the fact that I went with a grabone voucher several times. Everything I asked was a no because I went with a voucher. If that is the problem then just don't put a promo on grabone, but it is not fair to treat people differently if they decide to get it. By the way Shifa Parker is supposed to be great and a lovely person, but unfortunately I was rescheduled with another dentist without my consent.

Nothing against Dr Parkar, she did a good job with the tooth extraction and seems like a nice enough lady but when i first meet here for consultation and xray at Pt Chev dental, she told me it would be $350 (On the Monday). We had to re-book me at Stoddard dental as my swelling was too bad (re-booked in for the Friday). As i'm in the chair ready to get it pulled out, she told me it will be between $400-$450.at the end of the procedure she then said its $420. So all up it cost $525 (xray, consultation and extraction). Just didn't like how she makes up pricing as she goes and didn't stick to what she said at the Pt Chev branch. Yes i should of spoken up about the price, but i am a shy person when it comes to talking about money etc and just wanted the tooth pulled as i was in pain all that weekend. Would recommend getting quotation on paper before making appointments. Other than that, good job!

Had a fantastic experience with Dr. Mauly Modi and dental assistant, Anjani. Very thorough and professional in assessment and treatment. Both extremely welcoming, kind and patient. Receptionist, Nirmal was also excellent in service. Pricing was very reasonable as well. Overall would recommend to anyone seeking a dental practice. Will definitely be making Stoddard Dental Square my regular dentist.

Very professional staff. They explain everything from the moment you walk through the door. I'm not one for making regular appointments at the dentist but there at Stoddard Dental Square they talk you through everything they do before treatment starts. For me they were friendly, cost effective and gentle in their approach to the work completed.

Afforda, professional, quick, and understands how to fill out WINZ application. Most importantly, honest so tell you exactly what it needs fixed urgentlu and what is not very serious issues. T.e they don't try to vharge for unnecessary work

Best service! Very fast and efficient and the most kindest staff, they make you feel extremely comfortable throughout your whole appointment. Came in to get my wisdom tooth pulled out and they thoroughly explained what they were doing and what I have to do after the extraction was completed. Will definitely come back if needed and will highly recommend to others.
