Sumthin Dumplin Lorne

Best dumplings I've had yet, nothing special about the shop but also no complaints. The Beef and Cheese is my personal recommendation.

Oh my god overall this place is just amazing, always leave with a smile. The people working behind the counter are some of the friendliest people i have come across in working with food. They seem so passionate and easygoing, they make me want to come back everyday!

A unique take on dumplings that was yum, but I’ve got to say I don’t think they offer and improvement on the original.

Was looking forward to going but was disappointed as there is very little sauce and the „mild“ sauce was quite hot

Wouldn't recommend going there if they are busy. I ordered a large and requested for half of the chicken and half of the beef & cheese option, instead I received a totally different option of chicken & prawns, the whole order was wrong. I only realized it when I reached home in the evening. So yea, only go if there if there isn't too much of a rush, otherwise they may mess up your order which will turn into a disappointed for you.

Friendly service, given a lot of sauce, and the packing is very thoughtful. It's delicious, worth a try!

Beef dumplings are very good (even if you don't taste the cheese there suppose to be in it), but I found the other ones bland, tasteless.
Price is high for only 6 pieces.
And once you ordered, you have to wait 10-15 minutes minimum.
But the salesmen are very nice!

The monk dumplings was really really nice one if my favorite places but it is so expensive

First time having dumplings from here and went back the next day as they were so good. Excellent food at a great price

Food was nice, only 7 minute wait, had the beef & cheese (6p).
Didn’t have any change so couldn’t pay cash, no dine-in available and didn’t have one of their sauces in stock.

Sumthin dumpling is sumthin bland.
Dumplings are thick and doesn’t taste as good as it sounds.
Here’s an infinitely better alternative, around the corner is Eden Noodles they have much better dumplings and it’s way cheaper.

The clerk got my order wrong and kept correcting me, I wanted shrimp and got something else. The clerk laughed at me very disrespectfully. It was two Asian boys, very rude.

Botany Sumthin Dumplin is the best! All I tasted in Loren street Sumthin Dumplin was celery and very little mushroom. Not good! Botany store customer service is also good!

Pretty damn good dumps beef n cheese could have more flavour? Maybe some salt in the meat, wish i tried the pork but went with chicken since my gf doesn’t like pork.however she didn’t like the chicken and i preferred it over the beef (more flavour imo and nice with the sesame sauce)

Just ordered a large order of the shitake mushroom dumplings and had to throw them away as they were disgusting. There absolutely zero seasoning on them whatsoever. The dough was too thick and gloopy, the bottoms of the dumplings were slightly burnt and the filling was mostly onions, again with zero seasoning. I was so utterly disappointed and will not return.

Big, juicy, plump dumplings packed with meat or veggie fillings. The sauces that come with it are so good too, try the sirarcha mayo or the chilli.
