Terrible and very sly mechanic, charged me $800 for wof and fix ups, my right light isn’t working and they charged me for it, my brake pads are worn out and didn’t pick up on it and now it’s grinded down my brakes. I went last month and I feel like they only changed my window wipers… don’t go there.

The crew at Super Cheap Tyres & Auto are always great. Good service and advice over the years.

They take advantage of females and are Rip offs! They kept my tyres after I had paid for them to swap the tyres on the rims to different ones and when I went to ask for my original tyres they ended up giving me completely different ones than the ones I had them remove plus it was a hassle they said they didn't keep anything when obviously they did bc I went there with 2 rubbers not on rims and left with no rubber/tyres, except the four on my wheels. Didn't realise til I got home that they had given me completely different ones back but they probably wouldn't give them back even if I tried after the hassle to get my original tyres back.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! Heaps of cheaper and better places than these guys. USELESS

I would 1000% recommend these guys to anyone in Auckland who needs mechanical work done. They are honest and reliable. My car probably should just be written off for age, but we don’t all have the luxury of just buying a new car. They worked with my to prioritise the work needed to keep my car road legal. They worked with my budget and payment plan so that it was affordable. They even helped me get back the money for a grab one I forgot to use. They go above and beyond for you. Being a woman who knows nothing about cars has had me be taken Advantage of in the past, but not here. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. I drive all the way in fro maraetai and will Continue to do so as long as these guys are around. You guys are the best! Thank you.

Awful service, very slow work and didn't even do the job.
Paid for 2 shock absorbers, only one was changed, yet charged for both. I said one was the old one they said they changed it when it was clearly old, also was charged for a plate bulb for WOF, the bulb was never changed either. On top of they they had to have my car for 4 days. Would never use or deal with again

Very good and helpful service from staff. You feel listened to and staff are thorough in explaining car parts needed for the job. I found staff polite, patient and well knowledgeable in their business.

I went for the brake pads replacement with grabone voucher. The job was done nicely. No issues.well done.

I wanted to change the number plate bulb. And asked if they can do it. And the mechanic said yes and he tried. For my car you have open the panel from inside and he put his hand inside playing with all the cables and finally he changed.

After driving two hundred metres my car boot started opening while driving automatically and if you close, It will open itself.

Came back and asked to have a look. He could not fix it and said I did not touch it and I only changed the bulb and walked away.

When I confronted I never had this problem until you opened the panel then he asked another guy to have a look. After doing many things they made the electronic lock completely non operable and said I need to change the lock.

I been using this for 2.5 years. Never had this problem until the mechanic opened the panel. I asked them to fix it and they said they is no evidence I did not had this problem before. After loosing hope I asked them to fix it anyway, otherwise the things in my car will fall out of my car while driving. So they locked it and I can never open the boot permanently. But without putting the panel back, which I had to do myself.

They said we will give a call and provide quote in 30 minutes after finding parts and I had to call two times. And after 4 hours they gave me a quote for 240$ to fix it or bring the part myself and fix for 40$.

Asked to change a 9$ bulb and getting bill for 240$. Excellent. I decided not to do it with them. Won’t recommend this place for any other job except for wheel related jobs.

Few things to appreciate: Receptionist was helpful in accomodating the time I wanted. They have Multiple buy now pay later options which is a good thing.

I was charged $171 extra for no apparent reason. The car got a cambelt change using the Grabone coupon, and it fits perfectly under every condition stated of being Japanese, four cylinders, petrol and under 2.0 engine. However, they insist on charging extra, saying that this is turbo (but every turbo-related part is on the other side of the engine, so it's unrelated), then they say no, it's because this car is DOHC (which is most cars on the road), Very doggy. I feel rubbed afterwards, and I struggle to recommend the place, despite good mechanics. It was a misleading and rather unpleasant experience.

Very helpful staff down to earth and had me laughing after failing a wof they had everything I needed to complete a pointless task.

Brilliant service, no appointment and brakes were shot on a Saturday morning. They gave outstanding service and fixed the problems. They kept me fully informed and the price was well and truly reasonable (I would say a bargain). I am very grateful for the customer service and helping me to be safe. Booked my car for a wof and waited for almost 2hrs. My car usually doesn't take that long as I get it serviced each year and I know my basic checks like the tyre pressure, windscreen etc. Anyways I trust these guys as there honest and reliable, compared to other mechanics out there. Overall good service from the girl at reception and the guy that checked my car told me that if the wof is expired or about to be expired ii can get it done earlier, but I said I've just noticed it because of my rego was expired.

Went in to repair a tyre, 10mins later, all done. Friendly service and efficient. Also, i noticed prices for car repairs were on display in reception area. Although i didn't need mechanical service, i thought this was good for business. I highly recommend:)

Came in for a wheel replacement. Was very quick and easy. Great customer service as well, answered all of my questions:)
