Great ramen, if only a bit chilly with the door open. Everyone finished their ramen and very satisfying chasu pork options

Top tier Ramen, but the wait is long unfortunately. Probably because it's so popular.

Came here for dinner and really enjoyed it.
Ramen & Gyoza were both tasty.
A bit cramped inside, but nothing unusual for a Ramen restaurant.

We discovered it at the beginning of our trip through New Zealand, which lasted 3 weeks, and upon returning to Auckland we repeated it because it seems to us, to this day, to be the best Ramen we have ever tried.
Highly recommended, and the staff is very friendly.

Best ramen in Auckland! I've tried almost every ramen place I came across, none have beat Tanpopo's flavour and noodles.

Very friendly staff and fast service. Portions were generous and there were a variety of options. Staff didn't have much to say about the different dishes. As someone going to such a place for the 1st time, it was quite overwhelming.

Wanted to visit this place for a while
Now and finally made it!
The place filled up quickly! And within 10 min since it was opened there were no available seats and people started to queue outside! Get here early! They have about 14 2-tops that can be arranged in parties of 4-6 and etc.

I tried the traditional ramen (T-1). As much as I love ramen and as many I have eaten around the world including Japan (oh my!) perhaps this one was not my fav broth. But the NOODLES were outstanding! The best chewiness you can imagine! They got me on that! And i will definitely come back again to try another one! They have so many options!

They have lunch specials with gyoza but I physically cannot eat that mich so i have not attempted!

The service is very polite and fast!

I have not noticed at first, but there are few spots at the high top. Better find a spot there next time so I can watch how ramen is made and entertain myself!

The price range is vary. I think starting from $15 for ramen but I might be wrong. Place takes cash and card (2.5% sub charge) payments.

Great ramen, manager has always paid special attention to regulars, and great place to bring friends who have never tried ramen.

Tanpop ramen is the best, and I hope I can continue to afford it in the coming years. Thank you!

My gf has lived in Japan for 6 months and I've been to Tokyo once. We both live in Australia and this is the best ramen we've had outside of Japan. It's authentic AF.

The gyoza tastes homemade, the side of fried rice was nice, peppery and loose. The ramen broth was super balanced. The chef also brought the food to us with pride, it was super cute.

Being unsure at the beginning since the store only had 3 staff on and looked kinda dingy, this turned out to be one of the best experiences Auckland has to offer!

Had chashu miso tonkotsu ramen with extra egg and it was yammy and tasty. The broth was a bit salty for me so asked unsalted broth - the problem solved! I liked the ramen a lot so will return again but will not order with the chashu next time. It was a bit hard and tasteless.

Friendly staff, good service, but unfortunately the ramen tastes terrible. The noodle was too thin and undercooked, broth swimming with pieces of fat and too salty. Chashu tasted like it was dumped into the ramen straight out of the fridge. I’m usually very tolerant of subpar food but I would avoid this ramen.

Amazing ramen. Very nice, especially the signature tanpopo ramen. Me and my gf enjoyed it very much. Also good peach drink.

Eating ramen 2nd day in a row puts the 2nd place in a bad position. It has to compete with someone, who already satisfied the craving for Tonkotsu Ramen from yesterday. But, boy, Tanpopo did a great job!

The Tonkotsu Chashu was so creamy, you thought you were rather eating spaghetti carbonara. Service was quick and attentive, the Gyoza had plenty of meat in them as well as the Ramen.

Only downside that the egg wasn't cut in half and noodles seem also not to be made by the restaurant (probably no restaurant in AKL does this). But apart from that, a very pleasant experience.

This is some of the best ramen I’ve ever eaten. The chashu melts in your mouth and all the staff keep up with busy periods and are so happy to help. Dumplings are also unreal. One million stars

Authentic restaurant. Loved it so much.
The taste, the texture and the temperature were amazing.
The ramen was the shoyu one ($13) and for more $4 they offer a combo: dumplings and a bowl of rice.
The craft beer was $9.
Everything so so so so sooo good.

Imagine Legend of Zelda breath of the wild and you are cooking up a hearty stew. You eat it to survive a Lyonel from onetapping your hp. And You wonder what that hearty stew tastes like? Its basically their Miso tonkotsu ramen in pure essence. So fuking good.

Their Ramen is simply fantastic, it truly is Auckland's best ramen place. Their broth is ungodly and the energy of the chef is unparalleled. Must try in Auckland!

Their flavour definitely changed after covid time, I can now say this is the BEST ramen shop in all of Auckland.
