Tasca Beach

First time experiencing Spanish food. The food was tastey and reasonably priced.
The pork belly was a hit - soft and juicey. The Lamb shank looked like a decent size, but most of it was bone, so there wasn't much meat on it.
The kids' meals were perfect. Really cheap and good sized portions.

Pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The beef cheek meal I ordered was a generous size and melt in your mouth rich and delicious. The young staff were polite and cheerful. The meal came quickly.

The food has gone downhill.
The Socarrat is non-existant on the Paella.
The raw tuna came on a fruitsalad!
The Patatas Bravas are nothing like in Spain.
The Calamari is bland.
Quesadillas (though a word in the Spanish language) are NOT Spanish.
You can get Spanish beer in the bottle.
I think the Chief and Kitchen staff must have changed, it use to at least approach Spanish food, but it's so far from anything authentic that it's disappointing. If you want Spanish food, you turn up expecting just that and are prepared to pay for it. But for the owners not to pay attention to authenticity or have chiefs that understand Spanish food, or even produce quality.that's pretty poor, its negelectful to be honest. They are selling you an idea but not delivering.

Wonderful menu for meals throughout the day. Very pleasant environment and staff are obliging and efficient.

Food wasent all that my garlic bread was charcoal burnt and my ice latte was milk and hot coffee but my friends orange juice was the best

Such a beautiful experience, me and my partner had the Paella and it was fantastic with our expectations being blown through the roof

Big praises for Tasca orewa beach! Delighted with the tapas and everyone loved their meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Meal sizes are large. Clean place, bathrooms too!

Stunning. It was all stunning. We had tapas and loved every dish and the gorgeous wine to accompany. Great service. Highly recommended.

Very nice restaurant. All round flavoursome quality food. The drinks were great too. Prices are good. Service is excellent.

Food was allright. Had to wait quite a while and it wasnt because it was busy. Bread was a bit burnt and chicken overcooked which is better than undercooked i guess.

Enjoyed our meals between the two adults and 2 kids. Service was friendly and prompt despite our waiter having only been there 2 days. Good was pretty decent. Inline with our previous visits and highlight was the lamb which we took left overs home and had in sandwiches the following day.

Great place for dining! Like the warm atmosphere and really nice host. The food quality was a bit medium for me though. I had quesadilla and it was really dry. The Mexican place in the mall as a fast food has a better quality. My hubby had Squid and was yummy. We also ordered a pizza for kids which was really good portion for 10$. I would go back I guess and maybe order differently this time. Although they were busy the service was reasonably fast.

We had dinner at Tasca Beach this week and it was faultless. A perfect meal and damned delicious! Great serving size for the money I thought as well. The staff were lovely although I felt sorry for them having to wear those damned masks while working. Would highly recommend Tasca Beach Orewa. I am a fussy eater so hard to please some times.

Dinner tonight with friends. Staff were pleasant. Food was excellent. A little noisy however just happy people out enjoying their evening
