Taste Of India Mt Eden

This is just an amazing place in the heart of Mt Eden to enjoy exotic and authentic Indian food. Presentation was the icing on the top. The staff were so generous, and I must say I didn't let my kiwi colleagues down when I stated that they would have the best Indian taste in here. It was indeed. That you to the staff to recommend certain things as well. Highly recommended place.

I ordered Paneer and butter naan 2 days ago. The food was extra delicious, large quantities and we loved it. This is our first time at Taste of India. I really appreciate the hospitality extended to me by Mr Thomas.

This is our new local, we order mostly for takeaway, but have dined in. Everything we have tried is tasty and a very reasonable price.
When we dined in the service was great and a good atmosphere for a casual meal.

An incredible experience of good Indian food after so long. Highly recommend their Butter Chicken with Butter Garlic Naan.

Food was fantastic.
Wait staff were polite however as the evening got busier they seemed a bit over whelmed, nervous and shy. They seem to lack confidence which caused a uneasy atmosphere. Except the one from Olafs who took control and had excellent customer skills. Good effort though. With a bit of training things will be sensational.

Great food and even better service! From the front of house staff, servers, cooks to the manager it was a lovey experience.
Even had an early morning flight the next day and they kindly printed a document that I needed urgently. Truly went above and beyond. Thank you again! 5 stars!

We have booked a small area in a restaurant for family get together. The food was Awesome, ambience was superb and the service was very very nice and staff was very polite and helpful. Food was amazing highly recommend.

Best in town! We were going pass by mount Eden town & were quite attracted by amazing front look & inside Lighting (looks a quite new restaurant) Decided to go for dinner on spot.
Started with paneer tikka in entree, mango lassi, methi malai paneer, breads in mains & rasgullas dessert & Indian Masala tea to finish. 10 out of 10 for food! Truly amazing, best ambience & highly recommended. Good entertainment of tv shows of Live IPL cricket & Rugby and lovely Bollywood romantic songs behind the scene. Give it a go, you wouldn’t be disappointed. Thanks heaps Sunny (our host) & whole team “Taste of India, mount Eden, Auckland.
They do deliveries & Uber too, saw quite a lot deliveries going out while we were there & have a quite nice function space at back.

This restaurant offers great taste and reasonable also. The staff is extremely friendly. I was on a visit and stayed in City, ordered online twice and they delivered on my request as it was outside 5km radius.
I ordered egg fried rice, chola, yellow daal, Salad and breads. Everything was hygienic, tasty and fresh.

I took my family there for the first time and we had one of the best dining experiences. We ordered 4 curries and 3 garlic naan bread. All were perfectly seasoned, cooked and presented. Super impressed by the food, and the family friendly environment. We will definitely visit frequently from Parnell.

My partner and I enjoyed an amazing dinner here the other night, this is definitely some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Everything was so flavourful + authentic, I especially enjoyed the Samosa Chaat and Chicken Tikka Masala.

We got our meals very quickly and the staff here were attentive. They always checked how we were liking the food and genuinely cared. The restaurant itself is super clean and the colourful neon lights make it a cool vibe.

Will definitely be back again soon to try out more of their menu!
