Te Atatu South Medical Centre and Skin Clinic

I have been with this Medical Centre for over 2 years now. It's so much better than the previous one.
Dr Kawshi is the best doctor I've ever had. I'm amazed by how broad her knowledge is around not just normal sickness, but also skin treatments and pain management.
I had a great experience with her all kinds of skin treatments. I also had a great result from her PRP treatments for join pain that no other doctor could resolve.
I'm really grateful that we have Dr Kawshi in our community. My big Thank You to Te Atatu South Medical Centre!

Very unprofessional Receptionist/s and also very rude.
Called in twice for scripts to be sent to Pharmacy. Called Medical Centre at 9.00am, Reception informed on 2 separate occasions that script will be ready for pick up after 4pm. Waited until 5.30pm visited Pharmacy only to be told that nothing had been sent this of course was the second time this has happened. Will be taking my children elsewhere.

The doctor who I had a phone consultation with is very rude! Too judgemental. Pulling my kids out and “not every parent is perfect “!

Thanks for the excellent Podiatry treatment by Abdul Choudhary for my foot injury. The practice is well located close to the Motorway and very convenient.

Poor communication, didn’t listen to what I asked for ended up getting more blood tests than I needed and costing me more money than it should because they didn’t read the forms I asked them to complete properly. I have decided to leave practice. I have had good experiences with one dr however really disappointed in my last experience and won’t be returning.

Awesome Doctors, Dr de silva is the best one i have experienced in Te atatu. She is professional and well experienced. Excellent service by receptionst Paalkhi supermely knows her suff at hand. Easy to order prescrptions and book appointments for me and my family.

# just a later edit/add on I had a cold in Nov 2020. This surgery followed the instructions of the health department. Although at level 1, I was asked to remain in my car, offered a COVID test, and huge kudos to the wonderful nurse, who came out in her PPEs, with clear instructions and explained how this painless and easy test would go. She then was said stay at home and isolate until text to say all covid clear, OR phone call from Health Dept saying your positive AND if you don't hear from anyone in 48 hours call us, we will get your results. She also said make sure you stay home for 24 hours PAST being symptomatic. Thanks for being so professional! To me this showed that all gaps were filled in ensuring we remain safe. Highly recommend.

Fantastic. I can highly recommend Dr Robert Jing, hes young, modern and really focused. I recently changed after going to my old Drs about 6-7 x in 6 months, and getting no answers for some symptoms I was experiencing, and no help from that service. Dr Roberts great, listens well.

Great doctor, but reception needs some work with answering phones and messages left.have called 3 times this morning to make an appointment and phone is busy every time, waited on hold for a couple of mins with no answer.left a message and still no reply in half an hour.

I recently changed after going to my old Drs about 6-7 x in 6 months, and getting no answers for some symptoms I was experiencing, that were becoming more and more serious. I was basically ignored totally NOT heard. Between Dr Robert and my Naturopath I am being sorted out!

Love the new PRP treatment. I can highly recommend this treatment option as there is visible improvement on my face. Less lines on my face and the face looks quite fresh and hydrated. Thank you.

Every single staff member is rude and the doctor did not listen to me even slightly. I have a really long medical history and requested they get my notes from my previous doctor in order to read about my conditions. They did not request my history, it took over a month waiting for blood test results and I had to ring them to get any kind of answer. The nurse openly said that the doctor did not look at my results in that time. The doctor glanced over my chronic conditions and pushed expensive and experimental treatments that they advertise all over their clinic, claimed to be a "pain specialist" and put down all the other doctors I've seen in favour of their expensive treatments (without even a glance at my previous history!) I was completely upset when I left the clinic! I tried to request medication today that I have been on long term, they STILL had not requested my previous notes from the other clinic so told me that they can't do the scripts and I have to come in for an appointment, instead of just checking the history! I've never had such bad service at a doctor's office and I really don't recommend them.

The Doctor and receptionist were kind and professional but the nurse was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, lecturing me and telling me off for wanting more information before I agreed to a treatment.

Dont agree with the walk in clinic's, one the pricing is the same as a booked appt and they limit you to one issue, and a strict time I normally would think fair enough for not making the appt, however you can end up waiting a long time so you might as well make an appt and get better service, I was shut down pretty quickly when giving one of my symptoms to an older lady doctor who said that's for another time and has nothing to do with the issue (well i didn't know that), she seemed she was in a hurry, so normally you pay for what you get however in this case you are paying the same amount, so the service should be the same, you are sacrificing your time as well. Other experiences have ok and staff are mostly friendly, they are pricey however.
