Te Hana Nurseries reviews
9Have been dealing with them for a couple of years now, great customer service nothing seems to be a problem. Have received good local knowledge, everything has grown really well.
Great people to deal with - very co-operative - delivered trees and plants- a big help.
Have dealt with them before - will keep on dealing with them.
I'm not too happy with these guys. Bought 10 trees now and 3 had issues. A Peacharine I was assured was a smooth skin peach turned out to be furry so it's essentially just a bottling peach, A seedless mandarin that has pips, and a Nectarine that just up and died even though the stock is flourishing.
When I went to buy the Nectarine I told them about the Peacharine issue and they wanted a piece of fruit and the label before they'd consider doing anything about it so it ended up in the too hard basket.
They didn't even offer me any discount on the Nectarine.
Pretty average if you ask me.
In pass few years l have purchased over $400 worth of plants here, I’m ok if l can only deal with the employees they have been great, but find the owner to be rude and abrupt, totally unacceptable, today again rude on the phone when asked about cost and got hung up on. He used to have a very nice guy from India working for him when this gentleman was helping me with bags of compost, owner balled him out right in front of me.
Quality plants at great prices from people who know their stuff. Good to deal with, best in person. Highly recommended
I think it depends on the day and who you get. I think the owner himself has needed a personality transplant and should stick to the growing although occasionally he seems OK to deal with.
Te Hana really seem to work hard to make sure they have good plants and good prices. The staff are also wonderful. I don't buy plants all that often, but I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
I found this place to be run by kind friendly staff but the owner has a huge chip on his shoulder. He is rude, impatient and very arrogant. Will not be returning due to the treatment received whilst wanting to purchase plants.
