We returned as part of group of 14 people for dinner. Having booked in well ahead of our dinner. The tables were all set for dinner and reserved. The staff provided excellent service and the food was very nice. We are already planning a lunch function to be held in 3 months time. I would certainly recommend the Alex Bar & Eatery for an informal lunch or a planned dinner.

It has been two years since the last time we dined here. The service remains at the excellent level it was before Covid-19. Previous occasions were for dinner and this time we decided to treat ourselves to lunch and meetup with friends. The food we chose as per the menu was excellent. The cafe selection of food was very appealing too. We will return sometime in the future to enjoy the food along our friends and a great atmosphere. Subsequent to our most recent lunch visit we have chosen tha Alex Bar & Eatery to be the next venue for Lunch for a big group of former College Friends. This will happen in the next 6 weeks.

Good place to have a beer and hang out. Slightly on the expensive side. They do have TAB and Gaming machines so if you're bothered by that, not the place for you. Well maintained though. I would go back again.

Roy was dedicated to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Buffalo wings were popular and the pizza/burgers huge. Great parking and plenty of space to meet up

First time at this bar, food was great, service good and staff friendly. Tidy and clean, great place to catchup with friends.

We are regular visitors here. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. No background music.

Good place to watch sports or have a bet or gamble on pokies staff are friendly and offer good service.

Don't know much. Went there for our work do, upstairs. Has a gaming drinks restaurant down the bottom.

Went up and down along the fences twice, could not find the entrance. Even guy from first security wasn’t able to direct us to the entrance.

Excellent customer service. Enjoyed Fruit salad.
And pot of tea.
Such a variety if pies chips sanies cakes etc

Customer service is terrible. Older lady in the casino and bar lady have the worst customer service.

Alexandra Park Raceway ground floor eatery and bar. Good atmosphere, different food options, the night I was there, there was a buffet and also pizzas and menu to order from. Good night out

Amazing experience in the restaurant. So sweet of Arian to take care of my clients during my visit today. One of the most important thing for a person like me to have my guests treated well. With so many staff shortages across the country, Alex Cafe is doing great. Thank you Arian and the team. Good parking, good food and nice people, and I will definitely come back with my friends and clients.

Truly disappointed with the manager (mitchell). I have experienced a couple of times her bad attitude and lack of management. I hope the owners realize this as they would lose business because of her, the facilities are great and the location couldn’t be better.

Went there last wed worst service ever - 1hr 10m to get a very poor piza - when asked where our pizza was no apology we got told to calm down by the worst manager ever Michelle

A toasted sandwich costing $8.00 for stale toast - slightly burnt, bit of cheese & sweetcorn; what a rip off. Who's the cook!

Good sports bar, pokies, pub meals and TAB. On site in Alexandra Park racing grounds at ground level. Great live race viewing from dining area or outside in front of track

If there would be an option of no star, I would have given that. The service was poor and importantly the manager Michelle, one of the worst I have encountered, no decency to talk to a customer. I wonder how the owners of the place have made her manager.

We love this Cafe for its casual easy atmosphere and spaciousness overlooking the racecourse. There always seems to be free parking available too.

The staff are friendly and there's a great array of food: from fresh counter food, sandwiches, pies, salads, quiche to amazing looking burgers, toasties, and yum hot chips. It has changed hands over the years, and the current owners deserve to succeed with all that they're offering. Today we were looked after by a lovely member of staff Tina, who went out of her way to organise that the kitchen make us some lush ham and salad club sandwiches. Enjoyed a beer with our lunch as well.
