Best place for afternoon cocktails. The owner is so lovely even sat down and chatted with us for awhile

Got off the bus and saw they were playing the World Cup match so we popped in. Great drinks and staff and first time trying a Sunday Roast!

Was the best place so far to watch and afternoon match. Will come again in my time left.

Had lunch there today for Sunday roast. I had raw fish for an appetizer, roast lamb for main, and fried doughnuts with caramel sauce for desert. What I ate today impressed me. I'd definitely recommend this place for a Sunday Roast, or for lunch/dinner.

The fish I ate was nice, along with the fact that it also had good flavor. Lamb was cooked well, potatoes were nice and crispy, Yorkshire pudding was cooked nicely, jus was tasty, and the vegetables were very good. Finally, the doughnuts were cooked nicely, ice cream was good, and the caramel sauce was DIVINE!

Overall, the food was very decent quality. Atmosphere was also pleasing, and the service there was very attentive. I'd rate The Bridgman 4/5

First night in Auckland; we had been at the women’s World Cup match and walked in here to watch the match taking place in Wellington. It was great! Super nice staff, really good beer, and beautiful atmosphere. It was a great first night in NZ.

I've been looking for a proper pub that does a proper roast dinner since coming to these fair shores, and have come up fairly short to date. However, I think that has now been rectified - the Bridgman delivers both the authentic feel of a boozer (but in a classy way) as well as a damn fine Sunday roast.

Everything here was brilliant, from the service, to the drinks selection, and the food was the icing on the cake. Even the much maligned cheese option was done well here and didn't cost $20 for two small bits of cheese, three crackers and some sour grapes. Would highly recommend this place, if you live anywhere near it, or a train station, come here, as it's only a short walk from Kingsland station, allowing you to build up an appetite along the way.

Booked a family group of 9 at opening time. Staff were really friendly and helpful. They adjusted standards meals to suit if required. Food was excellent. Good price. Definately go back.

Not a big steak eater but that is by far one of the best steaks I've ever had! Chips crispy and passionfruit martini was absolutely amazing, lovely waitress also, bravo team!

Mash potatoes was so yum as were the veges had a great table with very lovely cushions and service was excellent

Solid pub. Had a lovely evening here. Really nice atmosphere for me but quite loud from sound bounce so be aware for those looking for a quiter chat experience. Very good food. I don't think the food quite meets the level of fanciness I'd attribute to my understanding of the gastro label, but it was quite tasty and generous.

Friendly staff, sport (Super League highlights) on the TV, clean and tidy and my beer selection was good. Fairly quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
I wiil go back again.

Booked a table for 6 for meal and drinks prior to the Blues/Crusaders game. Needless to say the place was super busy. Despite that the service and staff attitude was top class. They knew we were going to the game and made sure food and drinks were ready in good time. Food was great as is the vibe and decor of the place. Found out as we were leaving one of their staff had called in sick so they were short-staffed.so a big up to them for a job well done. Will definitely return.

Had lunch here on Saturday and was fantastic. Food was delicious and great portion sizes for what we paid. We had the Fish n Chips, Double Smash burger and a couple of steaks - would recommend all 3 dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Ladies and gentleman, we have a winner! A wonderful addition to Dom Road. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was top-notch and a great atmosphere for catching up with friends. Do yourself a favour and make The Bridgman your new local.

I love this place, I've been once before and brought my family. Bone marrow, lamb, steak and fries. Only comment is maybe rest steak off the wooden plank as the juice does run off the plate.

Just popped in for a look, decided to grab a burger and I swear to God I fell in love, the chips are the best I’ve ever had and the chicken burger was just superb. 10/10.

Wonderdul place to hold a private event! They have wonderdul venues in the bar with independent entrance. We had a private party last week and the service was excellent! All the staff are very supportive and friendly. Good communication and service through the event. Abosolutely recommended place to hold your event!

Had my daughter's 21st party in the terrace area, staff were amazing and very helpful. Awesome venue, highly recommend.
