The Falls Bistro

Charming place, attentive staff who helped me with my dietary requirements and delicious food. We went for mothers day and had the most delectable high tea. Would reccomend. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and engaged in conversation with us when we asked questions.

Had a fabulous dinner here. The Trust the Chef menu is a great way to go. Attentive, friendly service and a delicious meal.

We were a group of 14 for brunch after a wedding the previous night. The staff were great and the service and food was awesome.

Classic and cozy venue with decent menu. A lot of attention to the details and flavours of the dishes complimented by fresh ingredients.

The dining furniture and crockery could be cleaner, but overall a pleasure dining here with exceptional service - I'll be back for more

Ordered the Eggs Benedict with bacon, received the smallest amount of bacon which apparently costs me an extra $6. I know food has gone up but seriously $6 for 1 piece of bacon?

The falls team are amazing they catered for our company event and made the whole experience one to remember, Hayz, William, Jess thank you for a fantastic day we appreciate the whole experience great food excellent environment, so relaxing and chill, Cheers Ed we will have our Christmas function here

Sat outside after walking, as The Falls is closed now, in Levek 4. Great little restaurant in "normal" times! Local owners, very helpful. Can't wait for them to open.
The Falls Bistro has been open for a long time now! Two young local couples are the owners, very hospitable people. Great place for breakfast or lunch, very pleasant surroundings.

This is our go to for lunch or a glass of wine and food. It's a beautiful setting and the food is fantastic.great quality ingredients, thoughtfully prepared with a Spanish flair. Staff are friendly and helpful. Go try it if you haven't been since the current owners took over.

The owner manages the place and you wouldn't find better service anywhere else.
It's the best place to have any kind of conversation whether private or business without next table people hear you.

We took my grandmother to The Falls for her 97th birthday. Could not have asked for a more perfect celebration! The High Tea was perfect - beautiful presentation, creative, delicious treats that were not too heavy. The ambience was pleasant, staff very attentive and the parking & restaurant access was spot on. Hadn't been here for many years but went for lunch recently. Very ordinary with small portions, so so flavours, and high prices for an overall average experience. Still a nice outlook and environment and decent service though.

Cool vibe overall, reasonably priced. A couple of things that let it down, coffee was overly sweet, especially when I didn’t ask for sugar and some of the food was a little over salted.
Staff were friendly and happy to take feedback as well which was a definite plus

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Hayz and her team for making our 50th Wedding Anniversary and Graham’s 70th birthday a massive success. The service and quality of the food was outstanding. 60 guests attended and the afternoon went like clockwork due to Hayz vast experience and professionalism. We are so fortunate to have such a 1st class venue out west!

Went for a high tea for a 95th birthday, food was very average for the price you pay per person and 14 of us attended and normally when you attend a high tea, 2 people share a 3 tier, but in this case I noticed majority of our group were sharing a 3 tier between 3 people and the fod on the tier was only catered for 2 people which I found was a bit rude considering each person's charged $60+ so that was day light robbery. I wouldn't recommend a high tea at the falls. But staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely setting. Only went for coffee and that was good. A little slow for a takeout but lovely staff member. Didnt have time but it eould have to loved to stay for food. Fabulous building, light bright conservatory, and also outside seating.

Just had the "Chef feed me" special and WOW. Best food I've had in a long time - but don't tell the missus. Four courses of absolutely divine food and a great drinks list to accompany it. Reccomend to everyone who loves amazing food.

We've been to the Falls a number of times for family occasions over the years, seen it change hands a few times but the menu and service is consistently good. I spoke to one of the new owners last time, lovely woman very busy, very affable.
I had the fish which was nice not brilliant but good, the dessert was the vanilla flan, which was the same as a creme Brulee to me?
Good wines, reasonable prices.
We will visit again. It's one of only a few good venues in central West Auckland.
