Absolutely terrible handling of my serious allegation of a sexual nature with regards to an obscene gesture directed towards me, I called out the big boss lady who didn't respond in any way at all. She is a gutless, useless, spineless coward. Resign with immediate effect, please. I was informed by the hopelessly inept brain dead people who run the call centre that they would look at security video footage of the potential incident. I said hell no.
I want this to be viewed independently. They refused. This is potentially a serious issue. You say that caring is your culture. It's a blatant piece of false advertising. You care about covering your own arsed. Thats all. I do not expect an email from you. I will not be bullied again. Deal with my allegation publicly not in house. Zero out of ten.

I am telling everyone to avoid this doctors clinic on Wyndham street. I was subjected to what I felt was an extremely obscene, offensive and disgusting gesture by a nasty creep who is often hanging out here. Im pretty sure he isn't staff. I asked for an independent viewing of the security footage of the time of my alleged incident. And the call centre informed me that there own people would look at it. I said, hell no. I don't want anyone covering any possible sexual stuff like this so I asked more than once for the big boss woman to front up and guess what. I never heard a single word from this gutless, spineless, useless coward. She just hid away. If a buisness is negligently run by an inept, hopeless fool who won't front up then I guess that it's no surprise that the call centre minions don't care about patients and being able to help people who require help.this is absolutely terribly badly run as an organisation. The big boss woman should resign immediately. But of course they'll never, ever happen. 0 out of ten. Try supporting the victim instead of hiding from the truth boss lady.

I have been a patient here for over 6 years and so have my family members. I’m sick of the unprofessionalism from admin and am transferring to another clinic. GPs are fine. Administration need to be re-evaluated immediately and replaced with better trained admin staff. I do not recommend this establishment at all especially if you are an ongoing patient. Admin put you in more difficult and vulnerable positions than you are already in due to their lack of training and concern for patients. They don’t understand the concept of sense of urgency whatsoever. Even during quiet periods/pre COVID, I have had numerous occasions of admin not getting back to me regarding my repeats or questions and are rude/dismissive when confronted about these issues.

Dental erupted wisdom tooth extraction, fantastic and fast, zero pain! Good fillings too, been here a few times now, they don’t try squeeze money out of you like come other dentists.

The nurses here are great & super friendly - GPs have a high turnover - but the administration is abysmal. I've been going here for 5 years and encountered numerous issues. The latest is that after I found out my name wasn't registered correctly with MoH and asked the practice, who did the registration at the time, to correct that, they apparently found out that the documentation I provided when I signed up has gone AWOL, and therefore they've changed me to non-resident rates. Not my fault you can't do administration. I'm registered as a resident with MoH (after I had that info corrected 4 years ago) so how about the clinic just checks that? If I hadn't asked them to correct my name they wouldn't even have found out despite several visits over the years.

EDIT: removing a star after the below response; I was promised a callback several times before writing this review but it never happened.

Not recommended The Fono Medical. I’ve been to a GP a few times before. Would never go again. Since had misdiagnosis experience with an Indian doctor several months ago. And one of the receptionist was so rude. Disappointed. However, The Fono Dental is nice.

Updated another complaint for another issue

I repeatedly request medication and avoid the visit due to covid19 from time to time, but from time to time, they always arrange different pharmacy for me to pickup which i have mentioned all the time in my email request to clarify the drama but again from time to time, they still insist send the wrong one, not sure they do that to bully me or what but that is how i feel, firstly i have to send email to staff, then to website form update then facebook messenger to remind all staff to deal with my case, then they send to wrong phamacy and saying that is my nomiated pharmacy, then said i am the one wrong (after i show the evidence my past history) frustating and this kind of bully need to stop, clinc staff supposed to help ppl not bully. This is so disgusting. I dont know why ppl can bully others like this and put ppl into depressed and upset.

I am a loyal and registered patient here.yesterday I got car accident and injury after work caused pain. Today i went there for emergency, I said to her, I got hit by car yesterday for ACC claim, she said, oh emergency aye, we fully book, sorry tomorrow? That is it? I got hit by car, and she only said that. I wish, if this happen to her, she can wait till tomorrow?

Their dentist change and then for any X ray referral in their records within a month for a quote needs to see their dentist again.

Amazing dental experience with Dr Aisha Ali. Cannot recommend her enough! And the team at the front desk were amazing and friendly. Will definitely be going back for future dental appointments.

After more than a decade visiting The Fono Central I had a very, very bad experience with a female Indian Doctor. At the very start she mispronounced my name which is an english name and then she went on giving me a hard time in the consulting room making me feel as if I don't understand English. I had to request to see my old doctor who is now based in Henderson. It was a waste of time with her

Went to them for an emergency problem I couldn’t sleep head aches. And ear ache from my tooth ache they fixed it the next day. Next available appointment. Amazing

I am writing with an alias name. I had my root canal done here which are supposed to last at least 9-10 years. It did not go even for a year and on top of that I find the dentists rude and unprofessional. They are not worth even a single star

I have visited them 2 or 3 times.and every time i have to tell them my Name with spelling.even after that they can’t right it properly. Never had a good experience and been unsatisfied.after viewing the doctor.can’t book appointment even, it’s totally up to them.they can reschedule anytime and after appointment you still need to wait.so whats the fun of appointment to book

I am really disappointed with the dental service. I have checked up my wisdom teeth on 4 December 2020 which was extremely painful to me I can't eat my food and gums are getting infected but after check up they did phone call and they want to book appointments for extraction of teeth in next year even the date is not fixed. How it could be patient is dying now and the treatment is next year? Now I have to switch next dental clinic and again have to go for check up and x-ray which is cost me double expenses

I've been going to The Fono Dental for years. Their dentists are highly trained and the service is consistently excellent. I've had work from Dr Irene and Dr Pulkit, and a potentially difficult procedure from Dr Aisha Ali - who did an amazing job! Highly recommend this dental surgery, register if you can.

The Fono offers a fair-priced, compassionate service to people in need in several locations around Auckland.

When I went in for a chipped tooth, they offered several options, and suggested a very low-cost sealant or leaving the tooth uncovered. This was suggested, as there was no sensitivity. Although the sealant lasted a while (about 3 months), it subsequently came off and in one week the tooth chipped to an even worse state.

Perhaps, sometimes for some things it is best to just take the costlier option?

Dr. Sherin was quick to put my mind at ease when I had to make a last minute appointment due to a toothache. She was great at explaining to me why I was in pain and the course of action required to fix it. I would recommend the Fono Dental to my friends and family.
