Very nice place for a good meal. Nothing super flash and not fine dinning. Just good pub food with excellent service at a reasonable price.

We have had our daughter's 21st and recently my 60th at The Good Home Birkenhead. Both experiences were par excellence! It is called The Good Home for a reason. Their unobtrusive manner, quality food and friendly staff are unbeatable!

The team at the Good Home hosted our studio Christmas party recently and the staff were awesome! They brought out awesome function food, catered for us to run a quiz via the TV, were super accomodating with drink subsidies and just overall made the process of having an event so easy! Thank you guys we appreciate all your help!

Great little bar with a few different areas, perfect if you have a private function. Friendly staff and food is pretty good too.

Great place for a cosy drink or two, food is always delicious and fairly priced. Shout out to their amazing staff; Jamie, Duncan, Logan, Phoenix, Callum, and Paige for always making sure we have a great night! Will definitely be back again!:)

Went for a birthday for a friend, was my first time there. The food, decor and the atmosphere were great. I think I had the pasta of the week, which was chicken in a creamy sauce.

The staff were super friendly and we didn't have to wait very long for the food.

Very poor service. Arrived 2.20 for lunch told only thing available being hot chips. 10 minutes later food including hamburgers delivered to another table. Was hoping to spend couple hrs watching cricket and having couple beers. Will not return. Received a prompt reply of apology (Appreciated) that also stated that kitchen closed at 2.30. But they were still cooking meals for another table so surely could have added another one. With things so tough in hospo - providing customer service excellence should be of top importance!

Lovely environment, spectacular food and friendly staff. Steak night every Thursday is all you need after a busy week! Recommend with my eyes closed!

Food was amazing. Just got a bit stuffy where we were seated - no ventilation apart from the stench from smokers out on the deck. But saying that it was a good night.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to you both Jaimie and Duncan for all your help in getting us sorted for our Christmas party, even tho we were lower on numbers than expected, the food was on point shout out to your chefs, drinks were perfect and catering to our needs was outstanding.
We had a great time, people don't get thanked enough for their work so just wanted to let you know we appreciate you guys and your hard work

We swing by every Thursday after training at Birkenhead Pool. It's a bit loud on Bingo nights (if you're not playing hehe) but their $20 steaks are always bomb!

Had a small party birthday celebration there. Very nice. Great little place. Food was yummy and the drinks were yum too.

Lovely, lovely, felt very comfortable, nice staff, fab parking. Don't get there before 12.

Food and service were great! However, cleanliness poor.floors were sticky (carpets need a good deep clean), most areas I happened to rest my arms (inside and outside) were uncleaned and sticky, and as I looked up in the bathroom, I noticed very thick dust in the air vents. Disappointed on a Sat night dinner that rugby was playing rather than music, but that's probably just me!
