The Hospice Shop - Glen Eden reviews
24Full little place, but the service with a smile is wonderful. Lots of pre loved goodies and a pleasure to go visit
Always some great bargains in-store.
Clothing, nicknacks, cutlery pots and pans.
Furniture I have bought such items over the years.
The best 2nd hand shop we ever visited (and we travel round the world).
We spent almost an hour inside and found a lot of great things. The prices are incredible cheap and my boyfriend and me are really happy. A lot of customers were inside which is always a good sign and it is clean and well done. We bought clothes, creative things, cosmetics and more:)
I wish all 2nd hand shops would be like this one. And the ladies are really nice! Thank you:)
Wish I had more time looking around the store. My mate loves her lamp and it was a good price.
This Hospice store was laid out so nicely, everything was in its place, colour cordinated, everything reasonably priced, only let down is was the parking, the car park near the Hospice is mostly owned by dental care, so just keep that in mind if you park there, it is a tow away.
The clothes racks are overflowing with great deals, but you need to take time to really see everything. The housewares are hugely overpriced, so I rarely bother. I mean, a used kmart brand hair straightener for $10 is too much, and although it's been tested, it's life is seriously reduced since its fairly impossible to deduce how much use its had. The same applies to all the electrical goods, and the furniture is exorbitant. Frames, pictures, crockery and other nic naks are also well above what they should be. It's for the hospice charity, yes, but it's 100% free, donated goods, and most staff are volunteer s. Prices need to come down a bit so they can move some stock, otherwise it probably just goes in the bin eventually. Not great for the ecowaste issues. Mostly the staff are unhappy and surly, but sometimes you'll strike someone lovely.
Lovely friendly staff even when i knocked a container of needles everywhere! Thank you ladies for all your endeavors.
Great store, always nicely presented, have picked up all sorts of bargains here. The staff are always lovely and friendly too.
What a lovely clean tidy shop with lots of goodies. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. There's some really cool bits and bobs in there
It's fantastic to have an opportunity shop that's open in the weekend ️ brought some great stuff from there.worth a visit
I love browsing in the Op shops. This is one of my locals, it's clean and well laid out. Didn't buy anything this visit, but bought a tall cylindrical glass vase previous visit. Enjoyed the browse all the same.
Things are getting way over priced here. I know you have overheads but this stuff is all donated. I don't visit often now and I love op shopping.
What a great shop! Super busy, but really good. There is something of everything. I walked in and found exactly what I wanted, which was an ottoman or footstool of at least 45cm. It's very well priced, and it's definitely a store with the community in mind. The only problem is parking. There's only a few spots outside the store. The alternative is parking at the shops, which is a bit of a walk
This is a well organized.professionally displayed store.helpful friendly staff.well priced to sell.great place for china and housewares
They have everything that u need, awesum price not to costly just love it, the place needs to be bigger pity they couldn't have the place next door as well
One of my fav 2nd hand shops.although keep a tally of your purchases as one of the helper ladies tried overcharging me on several items
Lots of good finds for the kitchen, not so many options for clothing, especially kids clothing. Well set out.
Nice new store of opp shops around in the west Auckland area.
Parking outside store.
There is a parking section near them but it is a private place for parking.
Friendly staff ok priced items. I bought a tooth brush holder not much mens clothing
But its worth a stop in and have a look.
This is a great place and really good prices. Quite often they will even except an offer on something. Staff are also lovely.
