The Kitchen Factory

17th of May we were experiencing delays to our kitchen in Auckland it’s now 12th of July and still the kitchen not finished in spite of many promises. We have friends who are going through the same. I have been back in the UK for five weeks now and have already completed two kitchens three times bigger than ours in Auckland. And including electrical, plumbing and making good
System of paying 90% in advance is crazy, here we ask for between nothing and 50% in advance.
So sooner we finish the sooner we get paid. I will list defects later when who knows Kichen Factory will finish my kitchen.

We had a flood in our kitchen, a friend told us she was getting her kitchen done by Kitchen Factory so we contacted Peter and started the process. Unlike in UK where we pay at the end of a job or maybe a deposit of around 30%. But here 90% required before we see anything. If a kitchen company goes bust during process or delays project unreasonably what recourse is available. Hopefully we will be fine and Peter will do his best to install a good kitchen for us and in good time. Positive comments impressive and we look forward to writing similar.

We absolutely love our kitchen! Peter was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Our new kitchen is of very high quality and we felt that it was reasonably priced for a bespoke kitchen. We are very happy with our kitchen from The Kitchen Factory. Peter was great to deal with and he was very accommodating with the changes we requested. We love the design of our kitchen and the recommendations he made. Despite the issues that COVID caused with some delays, our kitchen was ready for Christmas last year

While I’m mostly happy with the quality of my kitchen, it was never finished and I had to delay other things for months as a result. After six months of waiting I’ve had to pay another kitchen company to complete the job. I’ve lost count of the number of times I was told that they would be here on Wednesday! If you need your kitchen done on time, don’t use this company.
