9Order 2 of the $36 snapper combo requesting that the fish was half cooked. What I ended up getting was over cooked fish and the mussels smell rotten. Have no idea when the oil was last changed but the batter covering the snapper and mussels is incredibly dark.
One of the best fish shops in Auckland due to the consistent freshness of their seafood. The display of their produce could be better. The owner is always cordial and honest when asked about the freshness of products.
Hands down best batterd mussels I've had so fresh not bad prices too. There raw fish is soo good.
Not to sure what happen to you both, our food was not right at all, I'm not sure if we got the leftovers, it was well over cooked taste burnt the fish taste like basa, lots more batter than usual, fries were dry an hard, lemon had no juice at all very expensive, the only food that was nice was 2 battered mussels, that pack cost us $30, we couldn't eat the rest so we endid up feeding it to our dog when we got home. Very disappointed because we always went there, maybe Sundays are the worst days to go because its all leftover food. I travel to far to get ripped off.
This was a total rip off. Paid $45 for our order, the order was wrong - the fish and mussels we’re fully messed up and broken into small pieces, they didn’t add on the extra chips I asked for and I just feel like we spent so much money for what little amount of food we got.
HUGE REGRET - will not be coming back again. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Good take away food, including fresh fish and shellfish. Rawfish is nice but fish is a little too chunky for my liking.otherwise excellent.
Love the freshly smoked salmon and mullet is generally smoked every Thurs. Great range of seafood and fish and chips. Reasonably priced
