The Proper Pizza Company

I have dined at this place multiple times, and their pizza never fails to impress. The 60cm pizza is not only delicious but also Instagram-worthy. I highly recommend trying their Black Truffle pizza.

You have to try their pizzas, they are lovely! Such different flavours, staff are really friendly. This is nothing like Dominoes so don’t compare the price, they are more expensive but absolute quality.

For a great pizza look no further than the Proper Pizza Co, the Pizzas are crispy, thin and super tasty.

Food is pretty average and extremely expensive! For the toppings you receive! Honestly not worth it! They also forgot to put sauce on the pizza!

Bought chips loaded fries, $11, unfortunately, the portion I received was very minimal and even a friend told me it would be smaller, they claim its a bigger box but it's the same size. I know the owner, Stuart, it's sad to see this happen to me and others, thought I'd say something for others. The cost of my fries I'd say it would be $5. So sad I always support Proper Pizza but uncertain now. Always a pleasure though. Unsure how to relate my feedback otherwise. I would hate see other receive similar like this. I come to support Stuart as best as I can but unfortunately I am thinking otherwise.

The best pizza in town! I love the high quality and freshness of their ingredients. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a nice atmosphere in the cbd.

They are open til late too which is so rare to find. Perfect place for a night hang out or to get pizza, beer and ice cream late at night:)

After walking for hours we finally found an open restaurant and the pizza was amazing. We ordered the white chicken pizza and we’ll definitely be going back!

Good pizza, friendly, unfortunately the margarita pizza was too flash for the kids who wants just plain cheese and sauce, no herbs. So perhaps offer a kids menu?

I quite enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. They have pizza by the slice as well as full pizzas. So, it's easy to pop down from work and grab a quick bite. The bread is good, and the pizza is not overly greasy. I'm not a gourmet pizza type person. So, ordering a pizza with Sesame seeds on it was a bad idea for me. I didn't realize they were on there, but the rest of the truffle pizza was good. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable.

The best takeaway pizza in Auckland. If getting delivered they're always piping hot and all in one piece. Top Tip - if you order on their website and pick up, not only is it way cheaper than uber eats, but it's ready pretty much bang on the time they say it will be.

Got it on Firsttable so paid half price - otherwise would have been sooo expensive for what it was. I liked the chicken one tho

Great food the sesame seed crust was truly amazing blended together with the sourdough base. Had the 60cm pizza (feeds 4) which was about the size of the round tables at the restaurant. The seafood was truly amazing. Great food thank you so much for having us!

50 minute wait for pizza is not acceptable. Wasn’t busy at all but they didn’t even start making our pizzas until the previous order was taken out of the oven. Staff had a ‘couldn’t give a toss’ attitude. All after paying a 15% holiday surcharge and a credit card surcharge even though I paid on debit card. If we’d been told we’d have to wait so long we’d have found somewhere else. In the end the pizza was ok but had so much black pepper the flavour was overpowered.

Best pizza in the city always, friendly and professional staff, must-try gelato.

Owner’s desire for professionalism can easily be seen from their answers to the reviews. Polite but “proper”.

This consistent quality is what humanity lacks, and therefore needs these days.

Pizza did taste good. Couldn't finish it. They cut it before adding the final toppings so it didn't apportion out well. Also no table service and was expensive. 2x 30cm pizzas and 2 beers was $110. Would I go there again? Yes but for a special occasion only.

Not really a big pizza fan but on this occasion I would definitely say that the pizzas where pretty amazing! U can definitely appreciate the difference from a less expensive place, as they say u get what u pay for and it was pretty good

I went Saturday 22 august at night and the young man preparing our pizza opened the bathroom door with gloves by using his keys since a customer wanted to use the bathroom. Then he proceeded without changing his gloves to prepare our pizza. It was disgusting he should have change his gloves.
