The Workshop Auckland

I loved working from here. This has been a game changer from me, having worked from home for the last few years and being quite isolated. I am now part of a community that was warm and welcoming. Conveniently located, and lovely mix of people. Best one I have worked at to date.

I highly recommend The Workshop coworking space! Donna has been extremely welcoming, making everyone feel included. During the time I was working from the space, she proactively connected me with other people, shared advice on job market, housing and leisure activities in the area.:)

I've worked in coworking from NYC, to Seoul, to AKL and too often coworking spaces refer to community they mean they have a ping pong table and free pizza once a month. The Workshop is different. Donna is warm welcoming and that enthusiasm for the work day you'll never get from a cafe or working from home. The space is light, well appointed and if I knew anything about feng shui, I'm sure I'd be extolling the feng shui of the space. Lot's of doers in here to energize off (except for that lazy black puppy who does seem to do nothing but collect treats and pats).

Open plan. There is no sound protection between the kitchen/social area (which has a coffee grinder) and the working area leading to a noisy environment with just a few people in the room.

Highly recommend the workshop as a co-working space. It's a beautiful place to work from. High ceilings with lots of natural light. A variety of different desks in an open plan setting and an easy booking space for meeting rooms if you need them. Good community of people working there. Donna who looks after the space is an absolute gem. Always making you feel welcome and even brings fresh baking on Mondays! A+

Love this place. So spacious being in a converted warehouse with the daylight and high ceilings. The space is warm and has a chill-vibe. The space manager Donna made a very warm welcome (every morning in fact) and introduced me to some cool peeps. I'm happy to be working here.

I had a great time working at the workshop. It is very well equipped and the people are great. I would highly recommend the space!

Such a lovely space with great natural light and fantastic indoor plants! The space manager Donna is just the best so it makes for a very welcoming atmosphere! Fresh fruit and coffee (+ plant milks!) available, and everyone is so lovely! A great place to get into that flow state and smash out your work!

We have a private space in the shared office. This space is warm and welcoming, all the members are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a new workspace - this should be your pick!

We love The Workshop!

We made the decision to move our team to The Workshop last month and could not be happier. As a small team, sense of community was a driving factor in our decision.

The Workshop is full of great people and has is a great social environment, but a place you can also get sh*t done. It has the best parts of working from home, but still allows you to save home for leisure time.

If you are looking for an office space but don't want the sterile, cold, corporate feel of much of Auckland's offerings, then The Workshop is certainly worth a look.

If you want an affordable space with great character and a sense of community then this is the one for you. Nice mix of professions that seems to lean towards creatives.

Great place to work - great vibe, spacious, and with unlimited coffee. Would definitely recommend working here if you are needing more connection (ie: sick of working from home, or are new to the city, etc.) For me, As I was new to NZ and Auckland, found a true sense of belonging with other like-minded professionals - which is sometimes hard to do being an independent contractor and digital nomad. I would strongly recommend this co-working space!

Spent 5 days at the Workshop utilising their hot desks and was a great experience! The office space is nice, open and large and there's a friendly communal atmosphere with great coffee and facilities. Brilliant spot to work and pop up to Ponsonby for lunch or after work drinks. Donna and the team were incredibly welcoming. Thanks so much again!

1 day visit:

I was a visitor in Auckland for a few days, but I needed a place to work the day after I checked out of my hotel. I found the workshop online, given it's 5-star reviews and its willingness to offer a day pass (rare).

The workshop was the first co-working space I've used, and the expectations are now certainly high! Everyone was incredibly welcoming (was shown around initially by a fellow user) and then was looked after by the wonderful Donna for the remainder of the day.

The facilities are great and the atmosphere was excellent. Had I known I was going to be swimming through Auckland airport a few hours later, I would have taken the offer of some beers in the later hours of the day!

This place is AMAZING! Moved to Auckland from Toronto and needed a place to work, Chose the workshop, best decision ever. The place has everything you need, everyone here is extremely friendly and social and the manager, Donna, is an absolute Angel. She's been so patient and helpful in anything I ask for. She really makes the place such a comfortable and welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful atmosphere, Donna is incredible, the people are super welcoming - and it's so so motivating to be around others working on their craft!

My first experience co-working in a shared workspace and its going to be impossible to beat. Donna & Tristan are so welcoming and accommodating, creating a working environment which is a really relaxing space making it is easy to focus. The equipment available is modern, with coffee and fruit included and a kitted out kitchen with facilities to cook your own food is a bonus. Being new to Auckland, the workspace has also been great way for me to meet new people from across the globe some in similar situations, its a great community/family vibe and everyone is very friendly. Without a doubt I will be back, even if there isn't a need for a shared workspace - it certainly beats working from home on your own!

The Workshop is great. Love the layout, the people, the facilities, the location. Tristan and Donna (our gracious hosts) couldn't be lovelier and that go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. Can I give 6 stars?

Great community vibes! Always love coming to the space. Worked here full time for over a year and then moved cities, but always come back here to work when in Auckland.
