We really like what Tipping point offers. It has just about everything you could ever need and the team at the counter are so reasonable with their pricing. My kids can go in a basically get whatever they want & it cost so little. Some of the stuff is brand new or near new. It's nothing like I thought. It's just like a big second hand shop. Don't know why it took me so long to go check it out. It's well worth a look.

I use to love this place until the new owner at the counter. He always seems grumpy and has a resting grumpy look with very poor peoples/ customer skills. Might need to be replaced as I see in the reviews a common pattern. Also doesn't give much discounts even though I have brought in alot of items in the past. I would give a higher rating if not for him. Great place if you are want to get ripped off for buying garbage.

Too expensive. A small broken pot and a couple of handfuls of soil for $5 laughable. A damaged candle for $4? Ridiculous. The ladies that use to work there gave much fairer prices. Won’t be going back there in a hurry.

I agree with others reviews. The guy who is there every Saturday is very unapproachable (looks scary if you ask me) but suits his personality. Needs training in Customer service skills and how to keep customers coming back. Please place a new face at the counter as this guy is not good for your business. You will get alot more customers and referrals when he's removed. I have decided to take my 3 trailers to another Op Shop. Women here are awesome!

Fantastic place you can find anything here and with a little TLC restore something and give it another life. Fairly priced and your helping a charity and helping reuse items that would otherwise end up in landfill.

Hi I come here most weeks and have found the guy that looks like the actor Jason Clarke (not the handsome version haha) very annoying to deal with. His attitude is unprofessional and very unapproachable. He doesn't even give even afew dollars discount for items that are considered rubbish. I have found the women here exceptional however. I have a lot of contacts in the West Auckland community but since this guy has worked here I will honestly say it has put me off from coming. Also who checks COVID passes like a Police officer. Like I'm wearing a mask, who cares. Needs a new profession. Other then that I love this place. Can't wait until other staff are working on the weekend. I will consider changing review and coming back.

Great shop for odds and ends and cheap enough to take a few risks. Great for arts and crafts, odds and ends. The store has sections for most things from kitchen, to bedroom, outdoor adventure, paint, arts and craft, speakers to stereos. Clothing, books and toys, however these sections are getting smaller and smaller each time I visit. Bikes, outdoor furniture, you name it, they have it. Unfortunately they don't tend to take your name and number to contact you if they receive items you're interested in, poor drummer girl still hasn't got her drum kit yet, and they've had 2 sets in since lock down.

This used to be great but since the fire it hasn't been the same. I tried to go there today but the entrance was blocked with road cones. Went and found parking elsewhere and started walking towards it when I got yelled at and shamed by someone with a megaphone. Could have had a sign at the cones or better yet, weighbridge staff on the way in could have told me it was closed. Rude treatment and a big waste of petrol.
