Top Cafe Dumpling House

Incredibly delicious dumplings. We planned on trying this place just once but we are going to have to go there again! The juicy pork dumplings are incredible, I definitely recommend trying them. Noodles were way too spicy for me but the wrap and especially the bread around it are so good. If you go there you definitely have to try the spring onion pancake or the wrap, it's the same mind-blowing bread. Great experience!

Came to Auckland only for 5 weeks and had dumping cravings. I was staying around the corner from Top Cafe and tried the Hong Shao Pork Belly and the juicy pork dumplings. Very generous servings for a great prize! Dumplings simply delicious and needed to come back for more. I came here at least 5 more times in the last 2 weeks. Leaving Auckland tomorrow and definitely know where I’ll be going for the last meal! Friendly staff both when dined in and ordered take out!

This is a very cute, tiny, and professional place. I had cabbage dumplings, which were made on the spot and were great. The portion was generous but not too much. And they weren't too fried, which I loved. They even had a wifi. The only issue is the smell: I was concerned I needed to wash all my clothes after this visit.

Delicious food, friendly staff and very affordable
ate there twice, first I had vegetarian hot pot and second time pork dumplings both were generous portions, very tasty and most important the veggie hot pot was full of different kinds of tofu and various veggies, highly recommended

Got a delicious takeout from Top Cafe and was very impressed. They have delicious vege and vegan dumplings and would highly recommend the vege wrap!

Amazing cheap eats spot, we came across this absolute gem by accident. Totally out of the way off K road but absolutely worth it. Not a lot of seating but there was room for us and a great menu! Kind owners who are very helpful and make good suggestions. Thank you for a great dinner ️? We ordered the pork dumplings, vegan dumplings, and vegetarian noodles, and the spring onion pancakes were a fantastic addition

Why on earth would you sell a chicken fried rice so dang HOT and SPICY? It’s just a chicken fried rice. Dumplings were pretty good, but the rice ruined everything. You might want to state somewhere that the rice is hot.

Delicious dumplings! I highly recommend the pork and coriander. Worth getting take out though because the space is very small.

My partner and my most favorite dumplings. Any time we make the long drive to the city we usually try stop in and get dumplings and also take some frozen ones home too!

Absolute worst experience me and my partner probably ever had. We had 2types of dumpling and pork belly on rice. More then half of the food was left in containers, as everything was just so poor tasting, bad flavoured, not fried, and pork belly had probably 80%of all just skin and soft fat… Shocking experience. We both having severe stomach issues with changing turns at the toilet. Seriously considering sending leftovers to some kind of food lab as there is stuff wrong with all the orders we got 100%!

Came here with friends, awesome dumplings, good portion, juicy and worth the money.
Will be back again.

OMG they were absolutely delicious full of flavor, chicken n mushroom dumplings, pork egg n prawn dumplings husband loved, spring onion pancake, chicken noodles will definitely recommend too family n frens

We accidentally stumbled upon it (it is not very obvious). Wonderful and delicious food, not too much waiting time and very reasonably priced. Do try this out. One point to note, it is quite small inside and you may not find a place to sit and eat on a busy day (we got takeaways). Highly recommend it and will be going there again.

Hidden gem! One of my favourite places to visit. The pricing is exceptional for the portions you get. I have never been disappointed and always walked out with a full belly. Staff are always lovely. Go visit!

Yummy dumplings - we had pork, prawn and chive ones coupled with a chicken noodle dish that was equally good - although I could always do with a bit more vege in those types of dishes.
