Normally good standard but surprise coffee was too creamy and muffin was too hot, dry and lacked taste. 16 Nov

Right next to the beach and the museum, good for a stop in to have some good Brekki or lunch, maybe stop at the beach, or check out the very cool naval museum, next door.

Lovely place to eat and would come again. Brilliant staff, lively and friendly customer base which lifts the atmosphere. Thank you for your service and food. We loved meeting the local pup who waits patiently in the morning <3

Provides outdoor and indoor tables right beaide the sea. Quiet place to relax ans have a cup of coffee or a weekend breakfast. They have different kinds of dessert. I liked their new york cheesecake as well as their matcha latte.

Prices are also reasonable. Beside it is the navy museum, if you wish to visit it.

Couldn't get better in small cafes and comes with great playground and, of course the Navy museum.

Came ti celebrate 9 mibth bday of our baby
Coffees are delicious, views are spectacular
Fish and chips dish can be slightly larger than 2 finger bites and a mesculin salad Compared to other cafes in the area.

As a very rare treat I decided to take a “slice” of the Baked Cheesecake home. Sadly though it was extremely underwhelming: - a) size - it was barely a sliver b) very expensive at $8.50 for said tiny sliver c) was very bland, tasteless & greasy.

If you charge a primo price then ensure it’s quality which customers rave about & want more of - rather just looking good and being a product that after 2 bites gets thrown in the bin!
A big disappointment, absolute waste of money & a mistake I won’t be making again!

A great way to spend an hour or so looking around the Navy museum then having a drink & bite in the lovely cafe. A stunning location looking across to the city with a fun playground to keep the children busy.

Tucked away along the waterfront 15min walk from Devonport. Great cafe with good options for breakfast and lunch. Good coffee and cakes. Kapiti ice cream. Tasty food options. Lovely friendly staff. Recommend. Next to the Naval museum. Also worth a visit.

Visited as a group, the tables were set up well, well received by the staff, had a very pleasant light lunch, served seamlessly, the group enjoyed their time there, manager Xinna was excellent.

This cafe at the Navy Museum has lovely views (even on a particularly stormy day!) across the bay to Auckland city. I ordered the Creamy mushrooms and my husband, the Crepes. The service was very quick and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Love the place, the food is fabulous and such great postcard setting. Been going to Torpedo bay for a long time, even before how it is now.

Nice little cafe with good coffee and snacks. I liked the fact that they served us with a smile despite us stopping for a refuel while out walking so we were looking a bit bedraggled.
A nice pitstop if you are walking the cones

Lovely staff, awesome coffee and good selection of food, even with takeaway restrictions in place due to covid. Very nice place for a coffee and ice cream

The team at Torpedo do an awesome job, I have had coffee there multiple times and had brunch with friends on the weekend.
Awesome spot to go for a breakfast then walk around the bay!
