I visited the Waikanae Travelex store today, last minute in the hope of securing some Aussie dollars. Naomi was super helpful and had plenty of cash on hand. Transaction was completed there and then. Great service and will recommend this store to all now the banks are no longer dealing with foreign currency.

Extremely happy with the service I received from Rebecca at Currency Exchange at the House of Travel Ferrymead. She was most helpful re foreign currency, suggested a travelex money card which I had never heard of. Would highly recommend.

I ordered foreign cash online to be collected from Travelex in Tauranga. I have tried to collect it 3 times this week without success. The first day I went in I was there @ 11am & there was a sign saying back at 12. I couldn't wait so left & came back the next day. There was a queue of 6 people ahead of me & after waiting 20 minutes I had to get back to work. I have gone back again today to find there is a sign saying they are closed today. Because I ordered & paid online I can only collect from this branch. How am I meant to get this cash when I leave town today? This system needs to be improved!

Nice and easy. ATM in side departures only has USD, AUD, NZD, and EUR. The station inside security at the international terminal has Tongan Pa’anga and other diverse currencies. Gagan was friendly and efficient.

Terrible! Don‘t get a Travelex moneycard and avoid doing business with this company if you can! It is impossible to close your card account when you don‘t need it anymore. You get a different story each time you call Customer Service and then they tell you that you have to go instore? ! So we did what they told us just to turned away because we didn‘t have our passports on us? NZ Drivers licence isn‘t enough apparently. We could also verify all personal details and answer the security question. Why not tell us what we need to bring? What a joke of a company with policies that are just out to get you as a customer.

Do not use Travelex Botany Town Centre, apparently stores/kiosks are "franchised". They ask for proof of address which the website doesn't state is needed. The card was for my 12 year old son who is travelling without us, we had his passport with us. I managed to get hold of a payslip he had recently received but that wasn't an accepted form of proof of address. Be aware that if you get a card for your minor child that you won't be able to top up online either so would need to go back into store to top.no doubt with ID and more proof of address. Not convenient at all if you don't live locally. Oh, and this branch don't open in weekends either.

Worst Customer service experience.staff have no idea what they doing and to solve issues. Standing in queue for over an hour and than on the phone for an hour.

We would like to pass on our grateful thanks to Lea and Anti at the Auckland Airport. We flew back from Melbourne on Jan 2nd and went to Travelex to change our Australian money.we had a receipt so we weren't charged a fee to change our money back. However, the system struck a glitch and wouldn't accept the receipt. Lea went to great lengths, including calls to a manager and to IT. Finally sorted after much work on her part. Such great service, thankyou ladies for all your hard work. Would definitely recommend Travelex, especially with staff as good as this.
