Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Customer service is appalling their warranty and paper trail is shocking.
The last Salesperson said their warranty would cover labour but it only covers parts.

Excellent Job prior to installation windows and sills covered in condensation but now perfectly dry and no more problems. Installers helpfull and cleaned up afterwards. Competative price compared to other companies, Especially liked they offered 10 year warranty and 10 years
free installation of filters. Highly satisfied.

We bought a four vents system for our 1980s, 3 bedroom home about a year ago. We are very pleased and love how the house always stay fresh and dry throughout the year, especially in the winter. I'd give these guys more stars if I can as the customer service were very polite, friendly and professional! And the price for the system was just right for us as first home owners. Thank you guys

While lower cost compared to traditional home ventilation systems still quite expensive and does not appear to be able to draw in cold air during summer season

Was looking at getting one for our rental; but have since changed my mind. My (Elderly) Dad put one in trying to save some money but it dosen't really work. Not really impressed with the filter either and trying to get someone to call you back is near on impossible. We will stick with tried and true.

Really pleased with our Unovent. It's doing an excellent job with the moisture in our 1969 home with wooden joinery. The longer we've had it for, the less moisture we're seeing on our windows in the morning. There was a significant reduction straight away, we saw some moisture remain after a particularly cold night in our main bedroom, but a couple of months in and that's reducing too. The house also feels slightly warmer for it, I assume because the air is dryer and easier to warm. And great price. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star review was the service wasn't great. However, I did appreciate the acknowledgement of this when I provided feedback, and I'm definitely pleased with the product regardless.

All heat recovery systems do not comply with the Building Act as they are all internally vented extracting stale air to distribute throughout your home. Quality unit will have externally ducted system to bring fresh air in, circulate through heat exchange unit to bring to temperature discharge to various rooms with an extractor to remove stale air to outside normally on the opposite side to inlet. Condensation is captured in exchange unit and drained outside. If you have excessive moisture on ceiling and plates, you are only pressurizing your home to circulate condensation. AKA an expensive fan.

Horrible service. Horrible system. Absolutely appalled with the atrocious customer service.
We had the system installed through our landlord. From installation to now we have had a horrible experience.
The Unovent "brain" wouldn't work on installation. Now it runs but it doesn't seem to be making a difference, house is still horrendously damp. Contact was initiated on 17/7/19 and to date have been told we would get a call, most recent being by Kim Reed (The Specification Manager). After telling her we are not receiving any help/phonecalls she told us she would personally call the next morning. It's now two days later and we've yet to hear from her or anyone including an apology for once again not getting back to us. The customer service is atrocious and I really couldn't tell you this system is good regardless of the service, so. 1 star.

We are absolutely thrilled with our Unovent system, which we had installed earlier this year. The house is noticeably drier and the windows which used to be very wet, especially in the mornings, are now clear.
We have just had the blinds cleaned (mildew etc.from before we installed the system) and that cost close to $500! So we think that the system will pay for itself very quickly with us not having to do that so often now so lovely and condensation-free.
We love it so much we have just ordered a second system for our beach house!

I have spoken to John from unovent several times and found him very knowledgeable and I was very happy with the customer service I received. I put a 7 vent system in my rental property and have had no problems with condensation or mould this winter. I even put a H line unovent in my sleepout as it has no ceiling space and this has made a big difference. I can thoroughly recommend Unovent to other home owners and landlords as a cost effective ventilation system with great waranties and no pesky calls from HRV trying to sell you upgrades all the time!

I found this product very early on and install one on my rental property that suffered the crying windows over winter. The tenants immediately feel the different and very happy. I had since then put 4 more in last 4-years. I have one property with DVS which still suffers the crying windows if the setting is not correct or tenant switch it off - unfortunately. This Unovent don't have any setting and tenant will need to access the power adaptor to switch it off. I can throughly recommmend this Unovent kits to other home owner and landlords. Very cost effective to install and maintain. Just regular DIY cleaning on the filter. Thanks John for your excellent support and always eager to help and answer my questions.

John is amazing. He has great technical knowledge and I love that this is a local invention. We renovate houses and I can't recommend this product and Johm's service highly enough. Quite apart from being a superior product it's also affordable and no hard sell on annual servicing to keep warranties valid.

I have five units in my home and one main brain, for over 2 years now I have had no window moisture just a very small dusting on the odd morning about up 10 cm gone by mid morning not water droplets or large moisture at all. Very cheap to run, they switch on and off automatically depending on internal roof temp.
I had a some questions re the unit and I have found the director to be extremely helpful and supportive. I would 100% recommend product and company and would put into my next home.

I can't recommend Unovent. I spoke to them middle of last year and although they told me their system was great they wouldn't go so far as to say 'we guarantee performance' I bought two systems for my rentals as I was seduced by the initial price. (which as it turns out, if I factored in my time and a electricians fee it wasn't really any cheaper) The systems didn't really perform as I thought in fact I didn't really see any difference nor did my tenants. I called the company again to see what could be done, but the guy didn't really want to know and almost said I was lying about how the system was performing. I have already pulled out one system and replaced it.and are planning on removing the other this winter.
