By the time you get seen to, your illness or condition has healed on its own. Absolutely shocking.

No one enjoys visiting A and E, but when I went today. The people I interacted with put me at my ease acted with professionalism and sorted out my cut finger. Leilani on reception cheerful and let me know that their might be a delay. I then saw nurse Stephanie who saw me through the triage stage and finally Charlotte who cleaned and dressed my wound and gave me a tetanus injection. Great team players who put the patient (me) at ease. Oh yes I did see a doctor too. Thank you for the care and treatment.

Paid $120 for an ailment I knew I had. Noone advised that the pharmacy could have provided the same service for a fraction of the cost. Instead I waited for hours on end. Only when I got the prescription was I advised by the pharmacist on the same premise that I could have gone straight there from the get go alleviating pressure at the clinic. Everyone was very polite but really unhelpful in terms of the wait time and charge. I was very frustrated and it was obvious. The systems in place at this clinic are ineffective for hardworking kiwis. I could have been one less patient that waited that day and essentially one less in the back log. No brainer.

All the staff are friendly and respectful but unfortunately due to government carelessness it is so under staffed. I waited for 4 hours in agony watching people go in and out before me. I was appalled. The pain and symptoms I was describing obviously didn’t concern them enough. Ridiculously priced too for urgent help.

Massively impressed by the three welcoming, smiley and supportive receptionists and the extremely kind nurse and doctor that looked after me here last night. Despite being super busy they all took the time to provide excellent urgent care. I can’t thank you all enough. This place is outstanding.

The worse place in town. Reception gives medical advice they've never studied. Wait times be like waiting on heavens door. Ur best to go back home and suffer. Honest to God they need more doctors in there. Oh and they expect payment before your seen and could wait like forever. Your basically paying them to wait who even does that gosh

Alway kind and helpful! Amazing team there! Have been many times as my doctors are un able to even answer the phone let alone be able to book in within the week, and with injured or very sick children are always met with kindness and help! Have never had any issues here. It’s an urgent care if your injured or very sick you will be seen promptly, and if someone comes in that’s worse of than you they will be seen first as they should! Thank you all so much!

Reception was good. Waiting was awful to say the least. You're just a number. Waited to see the Dr he had all my notes infront of him I had and inflection in my stomach needed antibiotics he gave me acidex for heartburn. Paid $75 for nothing. Then went to. GP 2 days later and was given antibiotics prior to that I was in was in middlemore so no excuses I was in the system.

If you don't mind waiting with a 2 year old for over 3hrs then this is the place for you! Children should always have priority over most other cases

Worst experience ever.more than 5 hrs waiting to see the doctor. We ask reception if nurse can check her temperature for our daughter and she said you still got eight patients ahead and when it will your turn nurse will check temperature.we moved from local doctors to urgent care for our daughter but urgent care is worst in customer service and also one of staff told us keep ur child in waiting room don’t wander around as this is not a childcare.that’s how they care and their customer service.very disappointed. I guess local doctors customer service is better

Visited on 03/01, it was a busy day and a long wait. In spite of that I was kept informed on wait times for a nurse and a doctor. The care I received was professional and caring. They were affected by staff shortages, it happens. The staff are doing a great job! Thanks:)

3rd of Jan.arrived this morning with out daughter who has what we believe has a nasty cold. Which has been ongoing for about a week with multiple fevers and yesterday couldn’t hold food down. (Did covid test) So decided she needed to be checked. Today we arrived at 10am, a hour later were seen by a nurse. Then told to come back at 3pm due to lack of doctors on today. We arrived back at 245pm and its now 410 and still haven’t been seen. It’s ridiculous how this is called urgent care! I think most people would be happy to pay a high rate if they got to be seen quick. Can you guys please sort your wait times! I think up to two hours is reasonable but certainly not 6 hours and counting!

Have had amazing customer service today from the staff and was very comfortable in the waiting room considering how humid is was outside. It was quite busy and people were patient given their circumstances and the staff were going as fast as they could to make our visit professional.

I got there at 8: 30am and waited 5hrs to get a repeat prescription for medication. And they STILL FAILED. I had to leave without medication to start my EVENING SHIFT at work.

Amazing service from ALL staff. They were VERY busy on Boxing Day, BUT the wait time is NOT long considering the extended wait times at other after hour A&E clinics & hospitals. The staff were wonderfully empathetic, respectful & caring despite working in very difficult circumstances where a VERY small, vocal number of patients seemed to have highly unrealistic expectstions from them. I broke my elbow Xmas Day & attended Boxing Day. Dr. Kirin Tan showed amazing skill, knowledge & care in reading the X-RAYS picking up major issues. He diligently followed up with the Orthopaedic Surgical Registar, & followed this advice completely. Ultimately, through his real care, knowledge & diligence, he ensured a CT Scan was carried out, resulting in surgery being required for an open reduction and internal fixation of the elbow fractures & Radial Head Replacement. From what we viewed on repeat attendances to the clinic, the clinic triages patients & has a senior nurse assess each patient very promptly, sending those requiring Xray there promptly. Definitely the overall comments from the LARGE majority we heard by those waiting was the thankfulness to have such an outstanding, professional service for the Franklin / Pukekohe area. The service was totally outstanding with exceptional attitudes from every staff member. Thank you Urgent Care A&E Franklin, Mercy Radiology, & Dr. Kirin Tan, Plaster Nurse Lisa Day, & Triage Nurse Courtney Bowen. We have already been advising friends & family to attend Urgent Care A&E Franklin.

On the Saturday 14th of August this year, I went to the Urgent Care facility as I was having difficulty breathing, thought it might be Covid (but it wasn't). I had a long wait but that's okay I know they are very busy there. When I saw the doctor he said I had a heart murmur and I needed to have a check up with my regular doctor. He wanted to do an x-ray to check my lungs. I came back Sunday morning, didn't wait long, had the x-ray and the same doctor showed me the results, I had some liquid in one of my lungs. He prescribed some medication and we left. I had no problem with the doctor and the service I received there. However, the HUGE problem was that later that day (Sunday) I became very distressed as my breathing got worse and worse. I asked my partner to call an ambulance, but he said it would be faster to take me to the Urgent Care as we were 10 minutes away. We got there around 6pm and the place was closed! On the door it said open 8am-8pm, 7 days. My partner was beside himself and was banging on the doors and shouting but there was no-one there. He called the emergency number and the operator said go to Franklin Urgent Care they are the closest, and they were shocked to hear that it was closed. An ambulance from Papakura was sent and we had to wait around 40 minutes for it to get there. When they arrived, I blacked out and was in a coma for five days. I was also on life support, my heart valve had collapsed. I don't know how long I could have lasted before the ambulance arrived, it may have only been minutes and then I would have died. When you say you are open THEN BE OPEN! Ironically three days later someone from the clinic rang and left a message on my mobile saying that from the blood test I was in cardiac arrest and should go to the hospital immediately - I had just had my surgery - bit late I feel! Thank you to the Papakura St Johns Ambulance paramedics for saving my life.

Visiting pukekohe to see family when my daughter suddenly started screaming in pain (abdominal). Thought we'd get her assessed here rather than take her straight to starship (in case we did not need to). Triaged quickly by nurse who then went to discuss with Dr. Came back and said because we'd already medicated her with OTC pain meds there was nothing more they could do and to go straight to starship. Dr didn't even come to palpate her abdomen to rule out anything that may warrant an ambulance. So off we went for a 40 minute drive to starship with my daughter screaming and vomiting the whole way.
I would've felt better if the dr on duty had at least examined her abdomen to rule out a rupture
