42 My son absolutely enjoyed the Woodworks Workshop with John.
He loved being able to use power tools in a safe place to make his creations. Our kids definitely need physically and mentally engaging programs like this. John is a treasure for our young community. My son definitely intends to come back for this workshop to learn more and create new things. He wants to bring his sister and a couple of friends. Please keep this program running continuously in the holidays. Thank you for this amazing opportunity
Simrin attempted sewing for the first time at the "Sew a Book Holder Cushion" with Gracie last week. She was thrilled with the result and praised Gracie for her patience and lovely stories about her sewing journey.
This is the second Crazy Clay class that our daughter has participated in. She thoroughly enjoys the experience each time, and attributes some of that to the wonderful teachers that help make this experience wonderful.
Great helped inspired loads of crocheting, would love the next level class for slightly older kids/ mastering techniques to learn swapping colours, using super large crochet tools and how too for fun trickier patterns and reading crochet plans etc hint hint
Wonderful teacher. My daughter throughly enjoy her digital art on IPad with Harri. She was very patient.
So pleased to have discovered these school holiday art classes for my kids. My 9 year old son has been along to two now and absolutely loves them, producing beautiful, frame-worthy art! It has made us want to sign up for the term time classes next term too!
My friend and I absolutely loved attending the leadlighting workshop! Neil was the most fun, helpful, and patient teacher ever! Thanks to him, and the course providing all the materials, we all went home with super cute pieces! We are already planning new courses to attend, to make and learn more cool stuff!:)
I was attending the Polymer Clay Jewellery workshop with Vanessa, it was a fantastic experience for me. I was looking forward to it and I'm happy I was able to take the first step to start doing what I love wearing as I was inspired by beautiful jewelleries made of polymer clay. I'm glad these kind of workshops is being offered not far away from my place, I'm new to the Auckland region and I'm looking forward to more workshops. Thank you!
Children loved the activities her! The Center offers delightful environment and art design experiences, the cafe offers a wonderful selection of nice and healthy fooid, keto is available here.which is a cherry on top of the already pleasant environment.
The teacher for the Polymer clay jewellery workshop was amazing, super friendly and lots of helpful knowledge!
I have done a few classes with Uxbridge and have always found them to be fantastic. The whole process from finding a class, to booking, to participating is easy. The tutors are so knowledgeable and selfless with their skills and time. I can't wait for my next class!
My daughter loved the digital art course. She’s done it a couple holidays now and always comes away with new learnings into the Procreate app. Her only “complaint” is that she wishes the course was offered weekly so she could do it all term!
Loved the sign painting course with Erno! Amazing to have such niche courses from talented instructors who are actually working in the field. 10/10 recommend.
The tutor, venue and class were fantastic. The class is structured in a way that absolute beginners end up with amazing pottery pieces that can be used at home. We love using the one off pieces created from these classes.
Love this venue! So lucky to have a facility like this nearby. ‘Bowls in a day’ was such an enjoyable workshop. Eloise explained things so well, we could all go at our own pace. I was delighted when I picked up my 6 bowls after they had been put in the kiln. So satisfying to walk away with something useable, individual and original. One of the best workshops I’ve done! Thank you!
Traveled from Masterton as there are not many sign painting/lettering courses available. Good content and well taught.
Enjoyed the Bonsai class, Angela & Milan were very helpful and explained things well and it was nice to be able to pick what shrub you wanted to bonsai with their (very) hands on instruction.
Great make-a platter class with Eloise. She's an excellent tutor with lots of energy and warmth. Hope she returns for 2023.
Attended the intro to sign writing course run by Erno with the help of July.
Erno was a wealth of knowledge teaching us an old tradition skill of hand painted sign writing. These courses are very hard to come by in NZ and so it is great to see Uxbridge facilitating them.
Erno and July made us feel welcomed and comfortable instantly.
Thanks so much guys! Had a blast!
Fabulous fun day making six dinner plates. Excellent tutor with the right amount of relax and pro tips! Lovely studio as well with garden views of Tui out the window sucking up Kowhai nectar!
