11Dont go there, go only if have enough time like a day, please do not forget to take food water because once you entered the lane theres no comeback, staff is rude, poor customer service
Every time i go there for COF i always feel stress free and Kiva he is the best inspector to do the COF he will tell you whats ur car needs to be done and etc etc well nice staff and good customer service
Got cof at vinz today a bit of a wait to get in but not there fault. Service was great friendly and efficient.
Absolute waste of money and time. They noted as issues stuff like couldn't unfold third row of seats because of cardboard box wich was empty or another good one was second row middle seat missing wich could have been easily unfolded. Obviously the car had other issues as well but the overall report seems to me ridiculous. Go somewhere else
AA couldnt inspect my BMW GSA 1200 so I was recommended to VINZ. They assisted on getting my imported motorcycle from Singapore inspected and to be road registered for $260. Glen communicate with me constantly to update on the status of my bike. Good experience
These guys have been TOTALLY amazing to me. We have imported a vehicle from Japan and they have been doing the compliance on it. The original export certificate has gone missing with NZ Post and Sunny and Tui have gone out of their way to help me work through still getting it complied. The customer service has been top notch, pre and post of the importing of the vehicle. Helping me understand even before we purchased the car at auction what I needed to do. THEY ROCK!
I went in this week for a cof.
One testing officer sitting at a table outside. There were no customers.
I went in and spoke to Heather. Asked for a cof. Response I got was.having lunch. I said.so you can't do a cof
The answer came back. NOPE.customer service. There is none.
Tourism ramping up again. Lost all my business but she won't care cause she doesn't own it.
Disgraceful attitude
This place is a total rip off. Went in to get the COF as the other VTNZ were busy and I only had little time so I just went in just to pay the fees and had to come back after they failed the COF so I went there again on Other day when they were supposed to be open but were actually closed without any sign or information about it. They would fail your COF for not having Kiddie lock stickers which are provided by VTNZ at no cost if you get your COF from them whereas these guys are charging a fee from on top of COF fees. Go to VTNZ here you will just waste your time.
Dealt with Kivi and was very helpful. Kivi's professionalism provided me with wonderful experiences during my visit.

I'm only giving one star here because there is no option available to give zero starts. I popped in to renew my Rego (I've done it once before and was previously served by a lady who was very good and who was there again today when I popped in) and the lady said the gentleman standing there would do it for me. He looked at me, walked away and said he was about to have his lunch and I'd have 'a bit of a wait.about half an hour' so of course I needed to go back to work and I left. To the lady's credit, she actually looked quite embarrassed about what the guy had just done. I've just done it online and I won't be going back there again. I thought this type of lazy, self entitled attitude went out with the 80's but clearly it hasn't. My only hope is that more people will use online services and put people with these kinds of ancient attitudes out of a job!
The staff don’t have any knowledge of any stuff they ask you to pay before and then they reject vehicle because of the things they haven’t asked before and the inspector for the WOF don’t have any manners to talk to their customers
