Passed my restricted test today, My testing officer Mark was a great dude. He told me my mistakes and taught me a lesson by the end of the test. He gave me the benefit of the doubt and passed me when I could have failed right at the end of the test.

Yesterday, i read all comments about this center and after reading so many negative comments, i even thought to change my center but later on decided to believe on my skills. Today i have passed my Full license test, and the instructor Mr. Nasser was a gentleman. Very very calm and explained everything before the test and also appreciated my driving skills during and after test. I request everyone, please practice before test and as Mr. Nasser told me if you follow the NZ road code well, you will definitely going to pass the test

After reading reviews I think people take him the wrong way because he's very direct and straight to the point which in my defense doesn't define who he is as a person. He is lovely. I passed and he gave me very great feed back thank you Mark!

The queue was not very long. The staff handled well - they can be quicker, I think one staff was on a break.

Sat my restricted driving test here and I had a great experience with test examiner Nasser. He was friendly, professional, and he was giving clear instructions that were easy to follow. It was a pleasure driving with him.
Front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend this branch.

Personally disagree on how they judge the driving capabilities of people, got failed because of "gap selection" because I took too long to take a gap that I didn't think was safe taking. I have a baby and I always drive on the safe side so failing for choosing a safe gap for myself is pretty infuriating. Just because I am young and foreign, some of their testers just make whatever they can to fail you. Wouldn't recommend. I did pass after the 3rd try, but still not happy about it.

Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. I called in beforehand because I thought you have to book an appointment but that was not the case so that was great for me less than 5 minutes being there I was told they were ready, service took less than 10 minutes so they are very quick but also efficient sadly my vehicle didn't pass the WOF standards and I had 3 things needing to be fixed before I could be given the go on the upside, you are given 28 days to get whatever needs to be done and are able to take your vehicle back I will update in 2 weeks time

Don’t get your wof done with these guys, exact same car passed at another VTNZ with not a single issue raised. Absolute incompetent fraudsters, cost me a quick sale on a car.

I passed on my test full drive on the 3rd time. But I’m here to talk about the girls who work behind the counter. They are fabulous, helpful, nice, polite and was encouraging me the entire time.

Mark is the rudest most unreasonable driving instructor you could get. If you are sitting your restricted or full license then make sure not to do it with Mark. I was told that Glen Innes was a good place to come but you must watch out for one old grumpy man because he likes to fail people. And unfortunately for me, I got him. First of all he didn't even greet me when I said hello to him and just told me turn on the car. At the end of my test, he gave me three critical errors for driving too slow when I was driving 44-48 km in a 50km zone. When my test was over, he left rude remarks like "It is so infuriating driving behind slow drivers like you! " He then told me I should have been driving ideally 54km in a 50km zone? Before I could ask any questions he had left the car. I am not suprised when I came on her to find out that others have left the same reviews about Mark. He is a terrible guy.

Everytime I go here. My car fails. Everytime I go elsewhere it passes. Maybe they have a daily meeting on what to fail for the day. Something is not right with this VTNZ

Missus booked a test, restricted at GI last minute. Read the reviews, the bad reviews stood out. Was really anxious as she thought she wasn't ready (only one lesson and hardly drove). We get there and see the assesor. He looks grumpy and strict. We get to the car and I jump in the bavk as a support. Nasser is his name, started the test and as it went on we saw his intentions. Which were great! Relaxed and very helpful. My missus passed the test to her surprise and Nasser gave great feedback. Thanks to you and the team. Great service.

I went for WOF. WOF itself was ok. After the testing, I found they closed engine oil cap very tightly. I was told I needed to add engine oil but I couldn't open the cap. Next day I went back to them and asked for help to open the cap. However they didn't want to help me even I was in arm injury. They said they couldn't help me as I passed the test already. Still don't understand why they couldn't help me.

Went for my full test this morning and had Mark. Although I did not pass as was 'too cautious' I still see where he was coming from. Very professional experience and Mark is a good bloke. Good feedback at the end and left knowing what I needed to do to improve for next time. Reception team is also very friendly.

I sat for a full license test and my test officer is NASSEIS.he is a very professional, Gentle, and also friendly instructor.it makes my test very easy and simple, how he instructed me.thank you so much and 5 stars for your help. Really appreciated.

I phoned to clarify if they could assist, they confirmed they can. I took the time off to get there, only to be told in person they cannot help me and I would need to go to a different branch.

If your sitting your practical driving test, stay away from the chubby indian guy (Sanket). He doesn't know the road rules. Failed me for going 47km through a 30km zone. This was fine, but there were no signs at all stating "30". Only orange cones on side of road, so the 30 zone did not exist I asked other testing officer what the rule was and he agreed that you don't have to slow down to 30 if there is no 30 signs anywhere. I couldn't challenge this because he had already enterered results in the system.

Why is that we book online for a full license, with nz transport agency.then go to a designated vtnz. Then don't allow you to take the test due to a 30mins after set time. But had waited 1 hour earlier. To see a sign outside the door saying driver instructors will come out you. But I go in to query. The driver instructor at the desk says I'm 30mins late with a smile on his face how rude. Could they have fit me in cause it's paid. The response No I was 30mins late, this is so wrong. Posting this I have to give a rating or this won't post. My true rating is Zero star not a 1 star for this issue. I contacted nz transport and they rebooked me free of charge so I will use another vtnz concerned vtnz gi will fail me in spite.

I failed my practical for getting 2x no look which I couldn't believe as I always do look on my mirrors especially on the side where I will be going/merging. The TO, Neeraj K, said i didn't perform head check, but the roads were pretty clear! And I see everything from my mirrors and peripheral view.

For those unfortunate who will be having him, some tips: enter first safe gap in roundabouts, don't forget to mention car at the back as hazard and make sure you obviously look at the mirrors and turn your head for check!

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I sat my full license test here after only booking it a week before. Mark was my instructor and he was incredibly experienced and professional. 5 stars.
