Appalling run around, staff giving wrong information about when theory tests can be taken.
Won't bother going there again.

My son took a practical driving test and passed, thanks! I'm just not happy that the dashcam was removed. The testing officer just told my son to remove the dashcam as it wasn't allowed, without even asking what the dashcam records. The dashcam is for insurance purposes and it is recording the external view only (front and rear of the vehicle) with no audio recording. No permission is required for this case. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The unfriendly instructor Rajendra S was probably the worst tester Ive ever had in my life, Not only he didn’t greet himself but had an unhappy mood also. Ive seen the review from another guy who rated him 0.5 also and I have to agree. I believe I was wrongly failed for being “too slow at an intersection” but was just being a safe and patient driver. He gave me two critical errors for being too slow and walked off. Yes I could’ve went but I only waited a few seconds and then made the turn. I think that Rajendra S should not become a testing instructor. Gave me critical for being too slow

Awesome service, I took a restricted driving test here and the instructor - Rohit doesn’t feel you anxious and thoroughly explained the error at the end.

Tia, rudest receptionist lady ever, yelled at me and embarrassed me infront of so many other people, without any good enough reason. Fire her, she does not deserve to work at VTNZ.

I recently had a full driving test with an unprofessional testing officer Rajendra S, and I must talk about my disappointment regarding the entire situation today so this doesn't happen to someone else. I strongly believe that I was unfairly failed due to an inaccurate assessment of my speed, which was wrongly deemed to exceed the designated limit. Despite maintaining my speed within the specified limit of 50 km/h, Rajendra S.insisted it was 63 km/h, even going so far as to lean over me and obstruct my view to check the speed limit gauge. However, the truth was that I was under the speed of 60 km/h as both my dad, (who was present during the test and sitting behind me), and I saw that my speed was clearly at 53 km/h and this potentially got influenced by his dark sunglasses on a cloudy day. This incident has happened with me in the past with the same testing officer with his previous unjustified failure on my restricted driving test which indicates a biased evaluation as he knew my dad from the past which for no reason, he mentioned after the test. Numerous reviews on VTNZ Highbrook mention similar experiences with testing officer Rajendra S. I urge VTNZ and/or NZTA to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and ensure fair assessments for all and take appropriate action against him.

Friendly helpful staff. Will only come here from now on for wof checks. Too many dodgy mechanics out there

Finally sat and passed my full drivers after years of driving restricted. The testing officer Rajendra is absolutely calm and not intimidating. He was clear on his instructions while I drive confidently.

Just been seen by Morvan what an awesome job he did for me had too get a recheck done he put me onto a place 2 mins away for a headlight renewal the guys he put me onto were awesome as well thank you Morvan thank you for your help

Thanks for asking for an explanation. Apologies I hadn't intended to give a 1 star, finger malfunction and I have amended. My reasoning for the low rating was because of the exceptionally long wait, I turned away and went to another vehicle station. I am always happy with the actual service I receive at VTNZ. I am however always frustrated at the long wait to receive said service. Cheers

My wife dis her full driving test here today and the testing officer yelled at her and just about made her cry. I thought that was super unprofessional.she was super upset and we will not be going back to vtnz highbrook.we also believe that testing office will need some more training.please also note we are not upset that she failed her test just that she was yelled at.

When we book test there is showing there is no date available till October 2023 always frustrated for booking test in vtnz highbrook

VTNZ highbrook is a recommended place for learners to sit for their restricted test. Testing officer Mr. Raj was good and made me feel comfortable during the test.

Employee's were very nice, but hard to hear the ladies behind the counter, not sure if it's the echo or the screens they have up.
Overall good experience.

Helpful receiptionist staff and very good inspectors. At times it gets fairly busy and staff do cop some nasty customers.
A last minute COF in the end of a Friday, they got us through and turned my week around.
These folks deserve better.

Terrible customer service from the front desk lady named Tia. She had a very hostile attitude for no reason and was not being helpful, since there was no appropriate restricted bookings i suggested a refund which she couldn’t confirm that i’ll receive one. As i was leaving the VTNZ she shredded my application in front of me which i found very unnecessary.

Helpful and professional. Went there with several tasks Helen made it look so easy with her cheerful demeanor.
