DO NOT DO YOUR TEST HERE. The guy doing the test Hashmukbhai/ Hassy is ridiculous. I was 5 mins early and he was complaining saying he’d been waiting a while. Grumpy from the start. Failed me for being too slow to fill the gap in traffic, which is absolutely stupid as it seems he’d rather I ram into another car and block the road. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TEST HERE. Looking at these reviews there are so many “too slow” failures because if they can’t get you for anything else, they’ll make one up go fail you.

Why do you guys keep on rescheduling my restricted driving test again when one of your testing officers is away on that day? Can you guys please hire more staff?

Lady on the phone said arrive before 4 and you’ll be all good to do your drivers license arrived at3: 45 after a 1 hour 20 min drive to her sending me away this is redicuolous

I did my full driving license exam in Saturn Place with Mr. Hassy.and he works above and beyond. He gives clear instructions, he was very professional and wasnt intimidating. He kept the environment calm which helped me focus on my driving and prevent anxiety

Make sure your test IS NOT with testing instructor Abhinav K. If you see his name on your booking RUN LIKE THE WIND to VTNZ Glenfield and don’t look back. During my test, he was talking to a colleague he knew on the side of the road at an intersection and blocked the passenger window whilst doing so. From the beginning of the test he was impatient and rude. Not sure if he was about to go on lunch break, but he seemed to be in an incredible rush despite us waiting there for about fifteen minutes prior to the test.

He also shouted and swore at me when I pulled onto the wrong side of the road to turn because of his very very late directions. I realised I made a mistake, but found it pretty damn hard to focus whilst he was screaming “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAN! YOU’RE CRAZY! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU”. I understand him being concerned, but shouting in my ear instead of grabbing the wheel or telling me to stop is a poor decision… also gum… he needs gum. I could feel the saliva from his mouth hitting my cheeks as he shouted. A bit of it even got in my eye, so might need to check that out.

When I asked him at the end why he said I was driving to slow on a tight road, with cars parked he said I had a “listening problem”. He told me I didn’t do a head cheek when merging over a bike lane, BUT HE WAS LOOKING AT HIS TABLET. When I did the head check I could see he wasn’t watching, and knew it would be mentioned later despite me doing it very clearly. When I told him this and he became enraged and continued to shout in my face. Not sure if VTNZ is offering staffing recruitment programs with anger management courses, but you can’t make this stuff up. Thought I was in a very very boring comedy show, as I couldn’t believe that this was actually happening.

Don’t book with these guys they purposely try to distract you on your first attempt so you’ll book again. If they don’t meet their quota for the week, they’ll fail you for following their own rules (like slowing when poor visibility).

Reading the other reviews proves that this place is an embarrassment of an establishment. They don’t care about driving safety, they only care about MONEY. Also he told me to park in a disabled spot at the end of the test, so maybe don’t come here if you’re disabled because it’s gonna be hard to find a park. I muttered “that’s illegal” and he said “it doesn’t matter, just park there”. Okay, guess disabled people don’t matter then do they Abhinav? Neither does the law if I’m allowed to park in a disabled spot, when there was plenty of spots in the surrounding businesses car parks that I could’ve used briefly while he began his 10 minute lament about how “crazy” I was.

Shame on VTNZ. Please don’t reply with a copy and pasted response about “lodging a complaint online” because I’ve already done that, and with a “within 20 business days” response time, I might as well start my own testing centre and start SCAMMING, SHOUTING and SWEARING at people myself.

Great experience, good atention, i pass my full class 1 with no problem, Anas was very professional and polite, pretty happy with my licence, recomended

Went for a WOF this week and found the front desk amazing but the mechanic’s explanation of the fail was horrendous. Very very picky and with an attitude to match. 78$ for a WOF you would expect knowledge in this area of expertise for what the problems are and solutions/advice. Very dismissive from start to finish.

Do not recommend. Support your local mechanic instead.

Worst service ever. Compared to Glenfield one, they are completely horrible. Making you feel uncomfortable while being served, that’s funny. Please don’t waste your money and time here:)

Failed for something rediculous that has been that way since new, never had an issue getting wofs at other vtnz. Wouldnt do a recheck an hour before they closed and gave me false info about other vtnz being closed, which was incorrect. Took car there, reinspection done, no issues

Did my full licensed here today. My driving instructor is Anas who is very professional, kind and calm.

Technicians & staff were friendly but recently with closed branches due to weather there was over a 2 hour wait. Tried twice on the same Saturday. So tried again Monday arvo, rang twice during day to check queue length with 1st call taking over 5 mins to answer. 2nd call answered promptly and got there 70 mins before closing & they had already stopped taking cars with only 5 in the queue. They did let me in when questioned - so thanks for that. 3 trips & $78 later I felt the experience could be better. Install a lost cost web cam indoors pointing to the queue so customers can ascertain queue length easily. Easy.

Lady at the counter who is dealing regos and wof… seriously she needs to take her game to next level. She is very slow at processing and taking way too long with one customer. Zero efficient, wasting too many people’s valuable time. She is like a sloth from Zootopia.

Came in 40 minutes before closing for a wof since it was quiet & got turned away after the “mechanic” refused to do it.

This place is just about making money for their automech repair partners, I took my 4x4 there which is over 15 years old. She is old but I have looked after her, she fail the wof for the most trivial things. There is a chip on the windscreen about a mustard seed in size, it’s not even in the drivers view area. Then rust on the side skirts? The Skirts are not part of the chassis, thus not a hazard to safety (was told to cut them off then it will pass?). But the cherry on top was the exhaust leak, which apparently the engineer couldn’t show me but told me it’s there. Cost me $78 to have my time wasted and taken for a ride. Don’t got to this VTNZ

I understand that you might have had a stressful day. But your customer is not here to be lectured on why they left their WOF till the last minute.

Kept getting my restricted license date changed and the latest one wasn’t sent till 4 hours before my test

I sat my restricted license test at VTNZ Saturn Place. All receptionists I met here were friendly and efficient. My testing officer was Abhinav, who was very calm, gentle and gave clear instructions. I was quite nervous, but thanks to him, I was able to calm down and focus on my test until the end. He also gave detailed feedback about my driving. Thank you for all your help. You are a star.

Do not take the pratical test here. The three Indian examiners I met somehow failed me. One of them actually made me have to drive to 50 km per hour in the rain. I think it's because it's only in this situation that they can easily pick out your speeding of 2 or 3 km per hour.

Great place if you need things as soon as possible. Just need to wait untill it is ur turn as it works on first comes first served bases.

We needed to make sure our car will get wof in the short time before the expiry date and as it was around Xmas, other places were available mid January onwards. VTNZ saved us the wait and the now we are nearly done with fixing the necessary bits.
These gues can get your car into a shape as well as inspect it's state, they can also get you through to your full licence.

Can't fault it.

Friendly staff. Yes there are queues usually but if you want a proper wof inspection, i can recommend. Even without booking.

Just be patient as anywhere else with VTNZ. A lot of people may be there.

The mechanics seemed professional. By the way my wof didnt pass so i need to get for recheck but the mechanic explained to me everything so I could understand it.

PS: Free coffee/drinks inside is a little bonus
