Great staff there at VTNZ Takanini, helpful and always a smile, even for the grumpies customers.

I had my practical test for restricted license today. Mr. Arwin was my testing officer.he was very professional and clear with the instructions.very calm personality.thank you Mr. Arwin.

The stench of BO hit me as soon as I walked in the door. This place needs the doors kept open to allow fresh air inside. Poor staff having to work with that pungent odour all day.
Lovely, efficient staff here, just hope thay can sort out the air freshener!

Not impressed at all. Young Lady (islander i think) there is extremely rude! On call and in person! Zero customer service skills. Will not return to this branch

A very busy branch eith many immigrants needing driver licensing servicing. The staff are so friendly and cheerful; most definitely overwhelmed by the volume of people this branch needs to help. Great manager, Grif, who is trying everything he can to make the service flow. Real credit to the staff.

Changing review after several visits. The service from some of the ladies at the front counter needs ALOT of work. While waiting, I watched as they treated each person very rudely. They act as though you are interrupting their day because they are in conversation amongst themselves. Treat others how you would like to be treated.

The reception team is efficient. My test officer is nice and professional, patiently explaining to me and trying to help me relax. Unfortunately, I didn’t pass my test, but it was not an awful experience because of his kindness.

The CS desk were amazing and that is why I have given it two stars. The gentlemen who did my WOF well I can only describe as a C U sort of chap. Failed me one one valid point and two invalid ones. Fully accept the rear wheel puncture. Foggy headlights, hmm went home wiped my headlights with a cloth. Not with any product just to dry them, took it back and wow it passed.

If felt like he was failing people cause he can. Either way next time warrant due I will drive in and check, if C U guy in there well I will see you later because I will drive off and go somewhere else.

Cheers to the reply, you reminded me to update this review. I would change it because the guy who did the follow up inspection was outstanding. Really pulled it out for the win. I will update stars to reflect.

CS was a solid 3 simply because they were great but didn't have to do much
Second Guy he gets 4 on his own.

Dont need to book for a WOF, just drop in and sit in the car and wait in line. But arrive by 4pm would be better. Have free coffee inside and wait for my WOF done for 30mins. Great service and fair Wof check. Highly recommend.

A sign says this is a kind place, be kind or go somewhere else…. Well, not one of your staff members smile, they stare no glare at people, they are very cold and the office does not have good vibes

Today been there for TSL, after 30 Minutes waiting for 30 minutes, to get my Form for TSL. Filled my for in 5 minutes again jumped in the line after waiting 40 minutes. Lady on the counter not very happy, said you have to bring Photo copy of Your TSL test. I Request her i can email you, can you print it out for me, because i came second time in queue after 40 minutes wait. She Said Big BiG NO….

Good people working their show smililing face to the customers good service. Keep it up guys. Have a good day.

A big thank you to my instructor Sir, v. Rama i just passed my full license test He is very patient, understanding, professional and good motivator. Very friendly and good listener. He made me so comfortable he is totally worth it. It is rare to find a that kind of humble person.i will always remember how he was calm and good instructer. Highly recommend. Thankyou sir RAMA.

Failed my car 2 times even though the problems had been rectified - went elsewhere and car had passed with a clear WOF sheet (green sticker WOF). It took three guys to test play on all wheels (literally hacking at it with a breaker bar probably 10 mins a wheel). Don’t go here for WOFS - especially if your car isn’t a 2020 model. UNPROFESSIONAL & $$ HUNGRY.

Got my WOF bike. Efficient, pleasant & courteous. $75 goes up every year, no matter where you go.

Got my WOF done. Needed oil and they just topped that right up for me!

Love how they explained what my car needed in terms I understood. (Without growling me)

Unfortunately my experience at VTNZ wasn't positive, waited in line along with everyone else then was requested by the WOF technician to back up my car and trailer to let someone from the opposite queue infront. Who arrived at the same time as me and was in an even position as me in the opposite line. I confirmed that I hadn't 'just turned up' as the tech quoted and the 5 cars behind me would be an indication of that. They then proceeded to fail the WOF recheck on my trailer due to wheel bearing being 'to rough'. The bearings are brand new and replaced during the week since it failed the weekend vefore. Their credibility has shown here. I'll be raising this issue further until l get a satisfactory outcome.

Avoid this place at all costs. These guys took an hour to do my wof and no other cars were in front of me. Its painful watching how slow they move. Then they failed my Camry for supposedly having crocked headlights (never picked up before) and structural damage underneath which again never been picked up & has not been in any kind of accident. I felt ripped off both with my money and time.

Very suprised. I waited only 15 minutes in the queue to get my WOF recheck done!

+ answered all my questiones concerning registering the car
+ compared to other VTNZ no queue
+ nice and clean facilities

- no chocolate, just free coffee in the coffemashine
