I have been trying to get my pets groomed for months never answer calls, never get back to me when I leave messages - awful customer service.

Ari is always excited to go to Wags for her groom! The customer service at Wags is spectacular. Affordable and top notch service.

Not the first time I visit this shop with my Japanese spitz and was acceptable service, all the time paid $90 +$25 de-matting charge for full dog grooming, yesterday I was very upset paid $160 after 4.5 hours the service was not finished and the woman told me to book for one more time and more money. This was the last time we visited this shop.
I don't recommend.

Please stay far far away from Wags Pets! We took our dog here on the 6th January for a groom and had booked very last minute since other groomers were fully booked during holiday season. We thought it was strange that Wags Pets had so many open bookings.

They didnt start on the groom until 20 minutes later while they were finishing another groom. (I thought this is what booking slots were for and wanted to eliminate my dog being put into a crate) When I picked up my dog after the groom I was chatting to Charlene the owner and just as I was leaving she casually mentioned that "they had put some treatment/antiseptic on his leg as the groomer pulled something out 'from the beach'" she said. I noticed there was blood all over the seat in the car and my dogs carpal pad was bleeding quite a lot over the next few hours. After inspecting the injury it is evident that the groomers sliced his carpal pad with their tools and there was absolutely no injury prior to our visit to Wags Pets. I called Charlene quite worried and concerned and she advised us to take the dog to After Hours clinic and she would cover the costs. 2 weeks later and we still have not been paid or communicated with from Charlene. We have been into the store to get an answer/update and have been met with deflectiveness, lies, lack of ownership, complete unprofessionalism and lack of empathy. It appears this has happened to other dogs on numerous occasions at Wags Pets and looking at the reviews im surprised Wags Pets are still operating. We will be taking this matter further as we have no other choice.

Wags Pets are amazing. I have an extremely difficult and traumatized Maltese who previously had to be sededated and groomed. Charlene and her team have over the last 2 years managed to groom him perfectly and without any issues. They are patient, kind and gentle with him and have earned his trust. I cannot thank you enough

Our fluffy senior border collie was struggling with heat and humidity, so our vet recommended we take him to get groomed.
We are very pleased with the results and so was our dog. He is visibly more comfortable since being groomed at Wags Pets and is sleeping better. His coat feels nicer, is easier to brush and he looks much tidier as you can tell by the before/after photos.

The staff were very friendly also.

We will definitely be a repeat customer:)

On the 26/11/2022 I took my dog Alf for a full groom. I chose to go to Wags Grooming for the first time due to the time they opened (9am) on Saturday and the location was handy. The 2 young groomers were lovely and did a good job on his groom so I was confident to book my 2 girls within a few weeks but due to personal family circumstances had to reschedule for 9am on the 7/1/2023. When I received the reminder notification the day before my appointment, it had been changed to 10am. When I queried the time I was advised by the owner that one of the groomers lived a long distance away and she had decided to open at 10am. When I was leaving I noticed another dog and his owner pulling up and thought it odd they would have 3 dogs booked in for the same time. Almost 4 hours had passed before I finally got a text advising the girls would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived I told the owner that I was there to collect Hope and Kelly and would like to pay. She initially charged $195.00 which was $15.00 more than I had expected to pay as Alfs full groom was only $90.00 so had expected it would cost $180.00 in total for both girls. I thought maybe their fur was thicker than normal due to being about 4 weeks overdue for grooming. I led one of the dogs to the car and threw my wallet back in my handbag and went back in to get the other dog when the owner informed me she had forgotten to charge 1 fee for the other dog for "gland cleaning" and I was charged a further $12.00. When I arrived home I noticed Hope was limping so I tried calling the land line number as listed on their website. I didn't get an answer after 3 attempts of calling to find out what may have caused her limping nor was there a voicemail service. I then used their "contact us" form via their website but I didn't get notification that it had been sent so I did it a second time and to date have not had response. I would not recommend this groomer nor will I be returning. As if it couldn't get any worse, my poor girls were so very thirsty when they arrived home that it was obvious they weren't offered water during the 4 hour stay there.

I personally know of three local dogs that have been injured from wags pets and come home traumatised.the workers are not qualified and are inexperienced.the business owners are unprofessional and have no idea how to run a business.do not bother booking a time as the grooms will be 4-6 hours long and your fur babies will be confined to a very small crate with no water for the duration

Terrible service. Think the ownership may have changed which may be why there has been such a shift in quality of service. My dogs first visit here was after the first 2020 lockdown for a full groom. The service and quality of grooming was great and the groomers had taken less than two hours. However every single groom that I had booked for my dog this year has been terrible. They have been taking over 4 hours to groom my dog who is a small Shih tzu x bichon. Furthermore, they lack the decency to even call to say that your dog is ready to be collected. Yesterday he had been booked for a full groom. I had dropped him off at 11: 30 am. I had not received a single call or text regarding the progression of his grooming. My mum went at 4: 10 to pick him as they close at 4: 30 and we did not know if he was ready or not. The groomer said it will take 40 more minutes hence my mum waited in the car. 20 minutes later she called her inside and said that your dog has fallen sick so we cannot finish his grooming. I get that this is understandable however what about the five hours that he had spent there? Was he not being groomed and just sitting there? I had not sent my dog there for a holiday away from home. His face had barely been groomed. His nails had not been cut. His feet and legs had not been cut and backside was groomed so closely which has caused my dog to experience pain and irritation. Once my dog arrived home he was super sad and he is usually a really playful pup. He went straight to his bed after drinking a big bowl of water. He also refused to eat for the rest of the night and remained really quiet and really sad. This is the first time I had seen my dog so upset. Will not be sending my dog here again, i recommend that you don’t either.

There was also a time that I had my dogs groom booked on a early morning. I had received a confirmation text the night before to which I replied yes to. Upon my arrival the grooming centre was closed. I tried calling the provider number however no one answered. I waited there with my dog for an hour however no one arrived or opened the door. I got a call later that night that their groomer had a sore back so wasn’t working. But what was I meant to do with this useless information after I had wasted my time waiting there? They did not even apologise on the call or sound sorry for the inconvenience which was caused. Absolutely unexceptional service.

Very bad service. They kept my dog for 4 hours for grooming and did such a bad job. They did not even returned her leash and harness, will never recommend to anyone.

Did a lovely job with the groom but both this time and last time we had to wait for 15 minutes in the shop front before anyone came.
Very frustrating as we were calling out the whole time.
Please DO put in a loud electronic door bell that we can ring, that goes to your back room.
Both times the groomer has said that should happen, but it hasn't. Thanks.
Lovely job with our beautiful Maltese tho. Very happy

Thankyou so so much for a perfect job grooming Gilly (a toy poodle). In two days time I'm taking him to see his first owner who is in dementia care. She remembers him with great affection, so it is a special occasion after her being in isolation for some weeks from covid.
My challenge is to keep him looking likes this for two more days.
My appreciation and gratitude for a job well done.

I am not used to Wags taking sooooooo long to do my Maltese. She was booked in at 12.30 pm, I could not wait for them to ph me and say she was ready. I got there at 3.40 pm, to be told she wasn’t ready and be about another 30 mins. I have never had 1 of my dogs take just on 4 hrs.
The service here is getting worse and worse.
Also, I recommended them to my neighbour. His poor dog got an horrendous shaving rash, and had to be taken to the vet.: - (No doubt they will not be going back.

Sadly I won't be back. Haircuts have been excellent but 3-4 hour wait times have been unacceptable. With no communication found it rude to be kept waiting despite booking ahead of time.

Excellent service. Took my cat in there for major clean up after getting attacked by Dogs. They took care of him like it's their own pet. Even got a vet on a phone just to get a second opinion. Words can't describe the high level and quality of service I received which even included a follow up phone call a few weeks later to check if my cat was doing okay. Highly recommend.

Wag Pets did a great job. My puppy was left with a very soft and silk coat. Customer service and pricing is perfect too.

So so SOOOOO happy with our experience at this grooming salon! Not only did they do their best to cater to my pups matter whilst short-staffed, she also came out looking like a whole new little lady! Am very pleased and will definitely be back in future. The greatest grooming experience we could have asked for for our babies first full groom:)
