Wah Lee Co Ltd reviews
47Order was processed quickly and shipped promptly.everything was super well packaged and arrived to us safe and sound. Very happy with Wah Lee service to online customers.
A great eclectic store that also is an icon. Sell plenty of unique and unusual items. Staff members are friendly, accommodating, patient and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help you. Car parking can be challenging. I believe that this is the only shop featured in the Auckland Memorial Museum exhibition.
Great customer service experience. And I'm glad to see they stock the kiwi brand knives, super good value.
The best place to find what you need at the most affordable prices and you can also find Latin products, highly recommended and with the best customer service
I was looking for chili threads to garnish noodle dishes and candlenuts for curry paste. The lady was kind enough to divide a large pack of the threads in half for me. Large variety of Asian serving and cooking ware. They also carry Yerba mate and Latin specialties! Well worth a visit just to take a peek at all the interesting items.
As for Wah lee's they have been around for such a long time. Famous. Please go and shop there. You will enjoy.
Very rude service, offered no help or direction when looking for things.
Also seemed to think he was a traffic enforcer.
Amazing! It's like a Chinese emporium of all kinds of stuff. From crockery to woks, kitchen gadgets, ornaments and even seeds. I need to go back to see the rest, that I missed.
Probably one of the oldest surviving businesses in Auckland, used to go here 40+ years ago. Must go more often
Kia Ora Dwayne! Figured it's been at least 25 years since I browsed (& YES there's a customer carpark! ;) & RUE the lost time.
Certainly going to.ake up for it - esp since myTaiPings gone.
Love my wok spatula. This store has been around for many decades and is an Auckland icon, the staff are lovely and so much to see here. Highly recommended
Order a wok brush. Seller very helpful when i asked best way to maintain it. Gave tracking and it came like the next day. Highly recommended
The staff at Wah Lees have always been incredibly nice to deal with, very happy with my Lucky Cat that was purchased late last year and delivered all of the good vibes. Great selection of food and products too.

Thanks for the calander sir. I've been this country over 20years and that's the first time ever got this detailed traditional calender.very thoughtful and interesting design.
I ordered a beautiful wallet online a couple of days ago and prepared myself to head into town to pick it up. Then yesterday, a lovely woman hand delivered it to our house. Thank you Wah Lee for going the extra distance literally and bringing your lovely wares to us directly!
We used to buy Chinese Thundercrackers from Wah Lee's in the 1960s. Fabulous selection particularly for 8 and 9 year old boy's. My photo has me on the far left and my Brother Gary on the far right. This was taken in 1969 by the NZ Herald and published.
One of commercial Auckland's hidden gems, this retailer has been part of the city for generations. Any Far- Eastern products you need, they probably have them. To get a taste, check their cool website. Definitely worth a visit!
They have always had everything your heart could desire plus extras.council needs to give them more parking spots
Great little shop of surprisingly amazing and unique things.also selling fireworks for guy fawks day.
This store is an experience in itself. It smells lovely from the bulk spices. Lanterns hang from the ceiling and every shelf is stocked and brimming with useful things and curiosities. Much more instore than online. This is a true emporium. If you're looking for things from Asia, you'll probably find them here.
