Peter and his team go above and beyond for their customers. Their work and pricing is fair and they are great communicators. Incredibly grateful to have stumbled across this business.

Very good workmanship at reasonable charges. They even fixed my annoying mazda's infamous key issue without me having to ask them!

Failed my WOF here fair enough but tried to RIP me off $800 for the repairs. Absolutely shocking. I took my Corolla to a different shop changed 2 tyres for under $200.
Unfortunately would not recommend WOF or repairs here.

Went in For some repairs with a WOF as the previous place had tried to rip me off for $1400. Was told it would be no more than mid hundreds and i had a conversation saying to let me know if it needed to go over this price as the car wasn't worth it.
With no contact Peter had added an extra $4-500 on to my bill (spending my money without my knowledge) Felt very ripped off. He even left his apprentice to deal with the aftermath (not that i was blaming him at all he was apologizing for his bosses behavior). Would definitely not recommend unless you want to be ripped off.

Peter and his team have a wide range of skills and Peter has 37+ years of experience. He maintains 10 of my vehicles, from a late model sports car to a 1940 4x4 ex army Dodge. He always comes through, even when under deadline pressure of a trip away. I have never been let down at Waikowhai!

I brought my car over awhile ago, after changing out a part myself, the car started to overheat. Within 5secs of being here I was told that I didn’t unscrew a part to let the water into my radiator. Very embarrassing on my part, but so glad and relieved afterwards! So thankful and would totally recommend!

The worst Service i have ever received in the entire New Zealand. Charge me triple than the regular Service Centres. If you want to save your money with a good experience please choose some other Service centre. He kinda speaks very sweet but he will rip you off from top to bottom.

Huge huge regards to Peter. Did a pre-purhcase inspection on my BMW (which ended up buying) Thorough job at such a good rate. Ran diagnostic on computer which was of extra charge but highly worth it and great he recommended it in first place. Kind all round customer service and would be back again. Highly recommend.

We approached Peter at Waikowhai Auto after being quoted $1000+ to repair our air conditioning. Peter let us bring the vehicle in to a inspection that day. His experience shows through as he had the vehicle repaired with 30 minutes and a bill for $60. Good honest workmanship. Highly Recommend.
