Room is clean.
The chair cover was old and peeling off, so I almost got plastic on my butt.

Thank you very much for Correcting the misunderstanding of how your cancellation process works, We appreciate the rebooking of our reservation, at last minute knowing how busy your hotel got with The Eden Festival going on. Thanks Again. I reccomend this accomodation to my family due to the beauty of your premises and the Easy to commute into Auckland City…

Went for a birthday dinner at Wellington Restaurant. A Lovely setting and enjoyed the delicious buffet - mainly Malaysian cuisine. A nice place to spend the evening overlooking the water

In almost 60 years on this planet, I have never been treated so rude and with such disrespect. We booked and paid in advance for 3 nights and got confirmation that all was perfect. I traveled from Whangarei with a car with my companies signwriting on it. The lady at reception was friendly, but her manager, Chetan Punj, was rude, cold and cruel. I was tired after the long travel, but he wanted my credit card details. I don't have one and told him that my company did the booking, thats when he told me to go home. I showed him the confirmation email we got with our online booking, but he said it means nothing to them as they do not know my own honesty or that of our company. He was not willing to look at my drivers license or any other alternative to proof my identity or the integrity of my company. I arrived there after hours, so my company could not be contacted. It will be on Waipuna's security cameras how he showed me the door. I have a master degree, a law degree and several other qualifications and just wanted my room to rest, but was literally chased away. It will also be on their security cameras how I then tried to call somebody to help me with the problem. It was later dark and after making more than 8 calls, I could get hold of our director who then had to give his credit card details over the phone so that I can be accepted. I got angry for the first time in years when Chetan Punj lied to my boss and I had to interrupt him to tell the truth. I am a soft heated person and everybody knows me like that. I felt so bad, humiliated and treated so bad, that I honestly could not sleep. The whole idea was for me to rest out before teaching and training the next day. This issue is still fresh in my mind. I teach and fly all over the country, but was never treated so badly. I just got an email from another hotel yesterday thanking me for my positive review, because it got more than 50 views in a short time. I am always giving people positive reviews, but unfortunately I am an honest person who will not lie, and I honestly think you should stay away from this place if you do not want to be treated like a criminal, and kicked out in spite of paying. Mr. Chetan could have booked me in and we could have contacted my company the following day. They had $ 660 dollars of our money, my car with all the signwriting on it, my drivers license etc. I wasn't able to ask for a refund (as their systems cannot do that after hours, yet he expected my company to answer their phones at home and solve the issue after hours. When I asked him why he needs the credit card details so urgently, he said to make sure to charge it if I take drinks and buy food. I told him I am not going to do that, but for the first time in my life I have been shown the door by a very unprofessional employee who up to know did not apologize or know how to say sorry. I checked the confirmation conditions and realized Mr Chetan Punj made his own rules. We will wait and see what the Commerce Commissioner and the tribunal will have to say (if Mr Chetan Punj doesn't come to apologize for his unreasonable bad behavior. Of course there will be vicarious liability for Waipuna in this regard.

Spent 2 weeks here in isolation. Staff were excellent. Food was very good and was delivered to the room 3 times a day. They also delivered morning tea. Only gripe was that the wi-fi was slow, but I had a good data plan so I had no problem

My 14 day quarantine stay at Waipuna was faultless during my Covid quarantine time here. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful - without exception. The rooms were spacious, clean. The food was generous and excellent. The exercise area beside the tidal Panmure Basin, grassed and gardened, was a true bonus.

At present a managed isolation hotel for travellers entering New Zealand. The sheer logistics of the Army, Navy, Security, Health Care Professionals and Staff to keep everyone safe, obedient, and happy - can only be imagined. Everyone is super-friendly, super-nice and going beyond their call of duty to keep us happy. The food and services - under such adverse conditions - is brilliant. These people deserve a medal and NZ should congratulate this hotel for being an exempler model of managed isolation; and the first introduction of the generous spirit of NZ'rs that the world has come to know and admire.

This hotel is dated, and three star at best. Poor WiFi makes it difficult to conduct business or video conference calls, which is odd considering it has a conference center. The staff are friendly, but management won't go above measure to provide comfort or supply utensils that are above basic.

Onsite food is excellent, comfy bed, however the tv doesn't work and the water pressure and heat is terrible

My son quarentined here with his son and reported that the staff at the hotel was very helpful and accommodating. The meals were tasty and for a meat eater he found the vegetarian meals very delicious and filling. Thank you to all the staff and especially the chef and kitchen staff for taking care of my whanau.

Staffs at front reception are so kind. But, some of staff has got attitude problems. And laundry service is the worst that I've been for lots of hotel service whole my life. Also my jacket colour won't back to completely.

At the moment this site is a quarantine facility, so not accepting public guests. I am quarantining here at the moment but can still give a heads up on this place. The rooms have partly been refurbished, so expect to see quite a few outdated things if you're staying here in the future. When i arrived into my room, there were 2 broken chairs, no tv reception, tv remote didn't work, and one of my legs on the bed fell off. Cant knock this place too much as they are a quarantine facility and doing a great job for Kiwis returning home - maybe there's hope for the future for this place outside of Corona.

Rude rude staff. They took a long time at reception to find my booking. They then declined me because i did not have my step dads credit card details or card with me.
My dad was told by a staff member that everything was sorted. I didnt need anything but my I. D and that i could of checked straight in. So as happy as dad was after organising my wknd away for my birthday and organising his own wknd away with his mates. Just to have what was ment to be a fun relaxing trip end early. All because 'WAIPUNA STAFF" DECLINED ME.dispite how far i travelled. And how excited I was to celebrate my birthday. I was in disbelief and left in tears
