We needed a mobility scooter for Dad and the team were very helpful determining what he required, which was a little complex due to the location he was moving to - including a "test drive" at the retirement village. They also helped when it came time to dispose of the scooter when Dad was no longer able to use it by selling it on behalf.

2 Staff came the following week with the scooter & 4 different colours to choose from. They even went with my friend to make sure the scooter fitted through the doorway of a place she visits. I tore my calf and was stuck on crutches that were doing more harm than good, after trying to deal with ACC who told me it would take 3 weeks to have a knee walker delivered I started searching an found Walk on Wheels. After my phone call the walker was at my house within 3 hours. Customer service 10/10, equipment 10/10, (not that I want to tear my calf again) I would happily use this service again 10/10.

I rented a Liteway mobility scooter for a 2 week vacation in NZ. The Walk on Wheels staff were very helpful with pickup and dropoff, and introduction to assembly of the scooter. It easily fit in the back of a small SUV and was quick to put together and take apart, which we did many times. The battery also came off easily for charging. Would recommend and rent again.

We hired a powered wheelchair as a trial. The service are empathetic, friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the products. We were so impressed with the machine we have now transferred the hire to a purchase agreement. They gave us a lot of practical suggestions to help the user. Access into the building is easy. Highly recommended.

Adam helped my mum pick out a mobility scooter. She came back from their showroom feeling encouraged, heard, helped and excited about her choice. When she needed something checked on the scooter a couple of weeks later, she was met with quick and helpful responses. Could not recommend more. Adam was great and organised the bed delivery and set up in New Plymouth. All went well and 92 year old very happy.

After a couple of phone calls with helpful and knowledgeable staff members to discuss suitable mobility scooters, my mother and I arranged to visit the showroom. We both tried out the recommended scooter - a pre-loved Invacare Comet Alpine, in very good condition. The scooter got up a steep slope with no problem - it definitely passed the hill test! No sales pressure whatsoever. Noticing that one of the armrests was slightly damaged we were assured this would be replaced prior to delivery, which was just a couple of working days later. Very happy with the service provided by this friendly team.

I was given great support and advice for my 90 year old mum. Adam is the best! Highly recommend this place.
