Was like a different car in the way it performed and idled ETC
The carbs and intakes look like brand new and I am very impressed! Just need to clean up the rest of the engine bay now

Hey m8t got a 1977 fj40 I've rang u about a blow thru turbo set up its for a 3f petrol motor u said u could sort out whole set up of wot I wd need that u guys stock or can get and could send me in the right direction of wot else I wd need I'm keen to get this build going look forward to hearing back from u with prices

Best fantastic service if your in the need for a new weber carb or parts in New Zealand. Has all the fuel pumps, air cleaner, adapters, linkages, kits and also Holley carb parts too for Alfa Romeo, Mazda, Chev, Jeep, Fiat etc

These guys where rude sarcastic and condescending I ended up traveling further out of my way to deal with the competition cdl autoparts who where cheaper and nicer to deal with.seriously weber specs.u didn't run my car on the dyno all I wanted from u was the parts I was told to get buy the dyno guy if u know so much y r u only selling parts and not running a dyno shop

6 weeks and carbs not done. Finally gave up on them. Went and picked my carbs up. I think they are a victim of their own success. Too busy. Great for them. Not so good for the poor sucker that gets lead on thinking they are going to get their job done only for weeks to pass by. Ended up getting the job done for a 3rd of the price at efi and carb specialists Manukau.

Great service and knowledge as I had purchase and fitted a webber carb from an overseas supplier which was sold to me as a perfect match for my Datto. The car ran but never very well as it was too big for the application. Derek explained what I needed and followed through with an excellent result. Datto is running mint. Cheers Team.

Great service.very helpful with any question, s you may have. The Carburettor for my Thunderbird looks brand new after it, s restoration and runs beautifully on the car. You, d go a long way to get better service in NZ.

I visited Weber Specialties with a basic Japanese carburetor. Murray briskly informed me that "he doesn't associate with people of color but would make an exception" Needless to say I did not pursue the project further. A simple review of others experiences should have warned me sufficiently but I can correlate them in my experience. You have been warned of dealing with this business.

Appaling workmanship. This business is every bit as bad as the two previous reviews suggested. From the racial slurs in casual conversation to the lewd imagery on the workshop wall - A couldn't care less attitude was evident from start to finish. A simple overhaul was requested and a 'near enough, good enough' job was done. No pride in one's workmanship and no pride in customer service is the hallmark of this business.

I recently contacted Murray from Weber specialist to enquire about rebuilding the existing carburetor on my trusty old 1988 Ford Courier to improve its performance and reduce fuel consumption which was considerable.
After a discussion with Murray we agreed that replacing the standard carburetor with a new Weber and upgrading to electronic ignition would give me the gains I was looking for.
I have had the truck back for a month now and am delighted to report that the performance is much improved and I am averaging around 550 ks on a tank petrol in stop start motoring around Auckland.
Murray and the guys did an excellent job and I have no hesitation recommending their great service to anybody who is looking at making big improvements in the performance of their vehicle, regardless of it age. NICE ONE MURRAY.

Used Weber Specialties Silverdale Auckland for advise on increasing performance and economy from my Misubishi L200 ute.
All advise and course of action was "spot on" after installation, and performance and economy was above expectation.
Highly recomend an upgrade of carburettor for L200, s by these people.went from 450 kms per tank to 600km

Saw Weber Specs with a basic carb off a older Briggs & Stratton Motor. After numerous follow up emails & calls, i elected to pick up the carb. This business had the item over 7 months and yet did not started work on it and were very hard to contact throughout.
Competitor completed the works in under a week and with excellent service.
Would not recommend nor be back. Customer service and care is very lacking here.

Called this business named "Weber Specialties" to ask about getting my carburetor fixed.
I asked him the following question "do you guys look after carburetors" so he laughed out and Ii continued and laughed with him, then he said "what an idiot" so I asked him, "did you just call me an idiot" then he said "YES I DID DO YOU NOT TAKE A JOKE" then I said, Sorry No I don't because I don't know you and its my first time to call you. Then he says "Well I don't need you".
what a great customer service, I give you nothing more than a 0 out of 10. Rude and disrespectful guy.

I approached Weber Specialties about upgrading from a standard faulty carby to a Weber in my son's Nissan Pathfinder. They had the carburettor in stock, so no waiting for parts.
I received expert advice, professional service and a thorough job at a reasonable cost.
The Pathfinder is running 100%, and my son and I are extremely happy with the outcome.
