Wise Boys Burgers

Love this place! We go there time and time again; they're some of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Their shakes are really good, too!

The staff are always friendly, and the service good.

I’ve ordered a few different burgers from here and they are always delicious! I’m not a huge sauce fan so I always request easy on the sauce.

The Dirty Boy burger was 100% legit, totally recommend. Onion rings were perfectly fine and the coleslaw was tasty and complemented the burger without being overpowering, I'll definitely be back.

Made for the many that crave a dirty dish more than they probably should. Let me tell you, these burgers are no joke - the amount of flavour these puppies pack will leave you with one happy tum. Inside out and outside in, there were no flaws. Fresh ingredients, the right amount of sauce, squishy buns, making it one flawless burger. Fries were golden. And to drink it all down, a shake thicker than your moms chest hair. Bring along your meat loving friends, and watch their faces melt as they come to learn that this place services 100% vegan deliciousness.

Wow, I ordered it in (and got it within 20 mins though it was a massive storm and I was several kms away) and it rocked.

I had to pinch myself at the amount of options. Life can be challenging for vegans on the road.

They were massive in portions, but really good flavoured play based vegan burgers in Auckland

I tried wise boys twice before and I was willing to give another chance.
It’s a shame that vegan food in Nz is still on this level. I just had some unbelievable experience overseas eating from three different burger joints (jerrells betr burger, bloom & hart house) and I would easily rate them 10/10.my husband who isn’t vegan rated the same and was impressed by the quality of bun, cheese, patty and sauces. This quality is just something that the wise boys didn’t try to achieve in these few years running their business. Maybe for the first year you would expect the food needing some improvements, but not seeing any improvements after these many years with so many recipes and alternatives out there, is quite disappointing…. If there are people elsewhere capable of achieving those flavour, I’m sure that a joint that is 100% specialised in plant based burger could put an extra effort to achieve something even better, or maybe this is just the standard for nz vegans.this time I tried the wise boy, buns were dry, patty too thick for a “smash” burg and also very flavourless. Their secret sauce is pretty average and the cheese budget …
Anyway, after trying three awesome burgers I was hoping wise boys could do justice, but I’ll stick to my own recipe at home.

A little bit gutted, I ordered from Uber eats as I’d never heard of this restaurant before but food looked pretty good and I was gagging for a chicken burger.

I chose the first one that came up and was super excited for it to arrive, when I tell you I almost cried when it wasn’t real chicken! If I was a vegan I’d probably have been pretty satisfied with the burger and to be honest any other day I probably would have been too, but this just did not hit the spot. I’d recommend on the Uber app if you could specify that the chicken (I know it’s spelt chick’n, but that really isn’t obvious that it’s not meat, I thought you were just trying ti be hip) ect. Isn’t actually the real McCoy I think this would be super helpful as it doesn’t state any where in the contents that it’s vegan alternative.

I would assume I haven’t been the only one with this issue.

I would however recommend this place to my vegan friends.

I absolutely love Wise Boys, don’t get to eat from there so much now that I live out west but still do at every chance I get. It’s great to have an entirely vegan burger place and everything on the menu is excellent. Service is always polite and within a reasonable timeframe and pricing is also reasonable.

Delicious burgers! Buns were nice and light, really tasty patty and sauces and aoili with chips was delicious!

All I can say is delicious! Have had multiple things from here and none have disappointed. Also love their sauces and use them at home

Yum! Fancy a delicious plant based burger? Then this is your place. We’ve had a few of these delivered and really enjoy the Chick’n Deluxe, fries, tots and Banoffee Boy Thickshake! Yum, yum, yum!

Tex mex was sensational. Gluten free buns are such a win here! Would recommend and would definitely come back! Please open one in Tauranga!

Great Menu and Service. Parking quite close to traffic light on main road in Grey Lynn township. Overall food was Fresh and Delicious

I was a bit skeptical at first because I love my meat, but the classic cheeseburger was fantastic, will definitely be back again soon!

I miss the "chicken" burger with sriracha mayo that was on the menu years ago. I like the classic cheese burger at the moment. Great friendly service as always! Thanks!

Top vegan spot in Auckland, pick anything from the menu it's all amazing. Just wish there was a little more space for dining in.
