Calamari and the spicy dip was really good, the chicken bites and the drinks were also okay, but the music was a little too loud for having a conversation but the service by Andy was really good, she was very friendly and attentive!

Not the greatest experience! One rude bartender Asian man (rest were nice) but this is who I was greeted with and he just seemed to have a foul attitude! It also seemed they did not even know how to make popular simple drinks? My drink was made once really well then the second time it just wasn’t even the same drink? Then third time I asked they said “sorry no ingredients for it”. We had a large group booking no one was really accomodating the staff took our orders, never came back to ask about dessert or if we needed anything more and seemed like they were rushing us to leave. Food was average to be honest. Overall would never book here again which is sad cos it’s a nice location

Came here to attend the dinner held by the conference. Mainly for drinking, I ordered beer from Scotland. The food is delicious. In addition to the food you can pick up for yourself at the beginning, there are also waiters patrolling around to give you new dishes. Be very careful with seagulls swooping down to snatch food from the sky. The fly in the ointment is that my friend lost his backpack here. Although someone found it later, he could not contact the person who found it, so he could only get on the plane with regret.

Arrived to Wynyard Pavillion with a friend around 19: 05 and placed our orders around 19: 15. Oysters arrived quickly, however they were not fresh, not on ice and was not that good. My friend got his drinks and meal around 20mins after ordering, my drink came at 19: 51, food showed up at 19: 56. Steak ordered medium and was over cooked. The manager decided to get me a new steak, which came around 20: 26, did not bring a fork, got a fork about 10 mins after, at which point the food was cold again. Ordered a fry egg with the steak as well which came the first time around but not the second but was still on the bill. One of the waiter was nice and gave a cocktail as a sorry for my drink showing up late. Having to wait as long as I did the food was nothing special. Did not mind paying the full price for my meal (which I did) however would have been considerate of the restaurant to comp.some amount on the bill for the long wait and incorrectly cooked food!

Absolutely love this place for music, just a night out or sports! Good sized inside and outside areas and ACTUAL UK SIZED PINTS! WINNER!

Pretty good fish n chips as advertised! We came with our dog and choose to stay outside as it was sunny - unsure whether we could go inside with our dog though.

We waited for ages at the front until someone came by to seat us. We had multiple staff walk past us without acknowledgment which was disappointing. There was another couple stood behind us that didn’t get attended to when we did, so they had to wait even longer. I appreciate that things may be busy at lunch time, but if there’s no table service (you order via QR code at table) then surely you can afford to position one person at the front at all times.

Sara the young lady that served us was amazing! She was very efficient, polite and just very welcoming and friendly. She recommended us the most delicious lemon crumble cocktail. We also tried a few others that were also delicious. We loved all the food from the fish and chip, chicken burger and chips, the ceaser salad was amazing, Great ceviche, yummy muscle pasta and delish fried chicken too. We were all very happy and satisfied. Great place, will definitely go again!

Came here recently for a hens do dinner/drinks and were amazed with the service! Such lovely, fun and friendly staff who made the night super enjoyable.

A perfect spot by the waterfront and great venue to celebrate birthday occasions. An amazing spread of hot finger foods and spreads.

It seemed like a quiet night in the restaurant, yet your service was terrible and your ordering system was even worse. You completely messed up our orders and we had to ask multiple times for our drinks and to get cutlery, salt & pepper and sauce for the table. Definitely wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

Food was very basic. Chefs should of had their masks up over their noses.

I understand the move forward with technology as in getting people to order their food and drink from scanning at their table, it makes it more efficient when times are busy, but I feel you miss the point.you are in the service industry.people go to restaurants for the experience as well as the food.removi g the interaction between server and customer has made it a somewhat robotic experience. We as the customer end up doing your job for you.however the food and drink was nice, but I do think you need to rethink how people order food in future.

Lovely food, awesome views just down from the main streets. Awesome place to visit with big family gatherings as they have awesome seating inside and out

Rude bouncers. Went to a party there and they put the stamp so you can enter later. My friend went to leave something to the car.he asked all good.yes.when he came back they didn't let him in. They oversell tickets, to have one drink you have to wait like 30 minutes and treat you very bad. I'm going to report them to the council. The worst place ever.

Great food, atmosphere and team. One of the boys said the mac n cheese didn’t have a lot of flavour. Pizzas and burgers are great.
