Used YNM on Monday to get an urgent fix on a Mazda we needed for Weds. Chris and Rachael came to the rescue and did a really professional job. Great work, fair price, constant updates and outstanding customer service. These guys are a great team. And a local family owned business too. Can't recommend you guys enough, we'll keep coming back.

Have used YNM on and off for 8 years. Can't fault their service and knowledge. Feels like the 'Neighbourhood' vibe has now gone from their early days though as they expand. Just my opinion. All the best to them. Time for me to find another 'go to' place. Thanks Chris and Rachael

Best in the business. Wish I found Chris and his guys earlier. I had been using a different local mechanic which I wasn't too happy with. So I reached out to Chris and he sorted me out keeped me well informed and sorted out my car problem. Will definitely be using Your Neighborhood Mechanic from now on.

After looking online for a local mechanic I visited to introduce myself and hopefully book in. An older lady who seemed to be having a bad day informed me that they wouldn't fit my parts as they were not supplied by them. OK - fair enough. She then abruptly picked up a phone call as I was mid-sentence. A customer service course for this person would go a long way. She may also want to invest in some breath mints.

On the plus side, her assistant was lovely.

Not a great experience. Very high charge out rate and estimates are very Conservative. $450 thermostat housing that I bought for $57 including shipping. Something wrong there.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices.
They even called when they found something abnormal to check before replacing things to avoid surprises on the invoice.

I have been using northbound mechanic ever since I bought my VW golf. If you want quality work, this is them.professional, honest and fantastic customer service. An added bonus is the use of their courtesy car. I highly recommend neibourhood mechanic.

Chris the owner is awesome.show loyalty to him and it comes back 10 fold. I showed up today unannounced and got awesome service.so typical of Chris and his guys
