For someone who has (had) zero knowledge in Solar Systems and how it all work, it is very important to get as much information as possible.
Dan Anderson was an absolutes blast! He not just survived my billion questions but also changed the system design many times to comply with my quite specific, perhaps, non-standard at some degree, requests.

We got the red back hybrid system 5kW inverter. We had some issues upfront but Stefan worked hard to make sure we got the results we wanted and did a good job to make sure we were happy with the final product. That’s what you want from a 15 year investment, strong customer support.

Mike Anderson designed a system for our situation which once installed is performing above my expectations,
The installation took a bit longer than expected but the installer had a good reason for this so wasn't a problem.
There was a bit of confusion about the installation of the input/ export meter so we are still waiting for this but hope to get it installed soon so we can claim back all the extra power that we are Generating.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience with this company. The sales person we dealt with sold us inaccurate product and had left the company by the time our product was installed. Then the tech support left the company, leaving us with no support when we ran into issues. Lucky we ended up getting the gear working, but annoying we had had figure things out on our own. Hoping our solar stands up over time as customer support is weak.

Very easy to do business with Zen. Install occurred in just one day, with minimal disturbance. If you don't have solar on your roof, you are are paying too much for electricity!

Mike Anderson came with Stefan on the initial site visit / quote as we were mid-way build. The team provided a comprehensive solar site assessment, options and have installed a fantastic product, the RedBack Hybrid System with batteries. These guys were quick to return quotes, and when approved, almost immediately jumped on the project prior to walls being installed and installation of the roof. Even with minor challenges, these were quickly overcome with a responsive team and a great contractor working for them providing an awesome end-to-end installation experience. Highly recommend this company, and product. Talk to Mike if you need it done right!
